I like the size for the front as it is not too big. I especially like the ability to quickly remove it so that the front is clear.
Will not stay tight unless it is shimmed
I have 25k mi on 2010 GL1800, 9k on my third set of tires (Avon Cobras- excellent performance), D250's OEM (good) & second set were E3s (worst) and I must say the Centra balancers, installed them today absolutely improved handling, reduced cornering hum, & made the bike feel more 'connected' to the road! They also reduced low speed wobble. the Avons were beginning to cup (as all sets have) & will be anxious to see if their life is extended post install. Install took me ~ 1.5 hrs performed all while on center stand. I reluctantly removed the wheel weights too, not being sure what to expect. No question Centras will pay for themselves in tire savings in short order. Std OEM suspension, but plan to add traxxion dynamics suspension front & rear at a future date.

Initially I wasn't going to add these to the trunk but changed my mind. I am glad I did. They really add a nice touch and flow with the saddle bag LEDs. They are also turn in addition to run lights so that only adds to their value. Great quality and easy installation. I agree with james that the wiring needs to be flat. The only problem I had with the install is that it appears Kury got the left and right mixed up on the instructions. It is pretty obvious which one goes on which side but sitting on the bike, it seems as though they were calling left right. Anyway, if I figured it out, anyone can. 5 stars for a great product and a 1 star deduction for trying to confuse me with the instructions...lol |
21,400 miles on last set (yeah, probably should have been swapped a couple thousand earlier). but these tires wore extremely evenly. Hint Hint Hint: Runs these boys hard - Minimum 38# front and 40# rear. Check pressures regularly (cold, of course). Running even 2-4# low will chew these tires up, and cause uneven wear.
We added these about three - four months ago, and had them installed by the dealer. We recently had the right side burn up and shorted all our instruments out, the wire lead actually melted!!! BUT , Rodney @ Wingstuff said he'd take care of it, and immediately sent us new ones out!(Thanks Rod!)So the dealer put the new ones on and we are happy except for the near $100 bill WE were stuck with for the new installation...Otherwise they are a nice addition to the bike! 3 stars for the defect, cost & inconvenience involved, otherwise they'd be a 5 star...
We actually bought these while attending the Americade Rally in Lake George, NY. Kuryakyn was there, so we bought them and had them install as well (Sorry Wingstuff...lol) They look great! They are absolutely a HUGE attention grabber & clearly lets rearward drivers know your intentions when turning, and add visibility as running lights at night! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (just wish they were cheaper...lol)
adds bling to a deary spot on the bike. stands out good
installed quick. these little peices, add a little bling to the front. it changes the look of a bland fender
I received the belly pan this week and installed it. Doesn't seem to make much difference with wind buffeting but it will serve the purpose for which I bought it and that is to protect the underside of my bike. I read one review from a gentleman that said he was 150 lbs. and couldn't get his bike on the center stand. I am 141 and have no trouble. Go to youtube and type goldwing center stand. There is a very helpful video.
You can't beat NGK spark plugs, they work the best in any kind of honda. Plus at a very good price also.

Great little piece that really shows up on my black Wing. Looks really well. Worth every cent. Make sure you clean your fender before you fit it. For the save of an extra 5 minutes, I removed my fender and took the opportunity to clean it throughly. Having the fender removed also made handling the inserts and applying pressure much easier without fear of too much force against the fittings. Good luck |
