Well, I ordered my first one and all went well for a while until I git three cracks developing on one side of the vent and three on the other side of the vent and one in the middle all growing everyday in length. I finally had to drill stop hole at the end of every crack. Call Wingstuff and they replaced it. Put the new one on and as of today 9-30-2012 I now have three cracks from one corner of the vent and one from the other migrating down. I have to go drill stop holes right now so I can use the bike this week and go to work. I have a e-mail and pictures on the way to Wingstuff right now. I hope they replace this one because I have a 300 mile ride schedule for Friday and I'm the lead guy. The last thing I want is this windshield to come apart in my face going down the road. I'm almost willing to go back to stock if I could find a stock height windshield with no vent or have the factory send me one of these with no vent hole. I never use the things anayway. Can that be done
I just installed this product and the day after the installation started up the bike and it looks like 3 of the lights are out.. Bummer! Now I gotta hope that they have it in stock to resend me another one. Maybe it was just a bad unit but now I'm worried about the other lights I brought for my wing.
These were recommednded by the dealer shop foreman at my first tire change. I have the Dunlop Elite 3 tires front and back. I have 12K miles on them with more to go and they are always smooth riding. Great product
Use this service repair manual CD just once and it will have paid for itself. Well worth the money.
Much less noise in the curves and more overall sensitivity. They don't like the "tar snakes" when the roads are wet, but it doesn't take long to get used to that. I like'm!
Perfect for the GL back seat grab handles. I attached two as illustrated- one one each side- does not interfere with getting on and off the back seat. Will secure a wide variety of hard cups/mugs.
Put mine on in about 40 minutes. Just put bike on centerstand and use a short cheater pipe that will fit over the end of ur hex wrench and ur box end wrench for the other side. Once u break them loose then put ur quarters in between the coils on spring, $2.75 to be exact. LOL. Use masking tape to hold the quarters in. Take bike off centerstand and put on kickstand and the rest is easy. Didnt need any tools to take off spring or put back on. Went on by hand. Great tip from the members. Reason this stand only gets 4 stars is that it don't fit perfect in the muffler groove. Its ok, nothin that jumps out at u. But there was no reason for MFG Co. to not make it perfect. It would have been easy to tweek in the design phase. Well see how long this stand holds up. See you out there.
I purchased two of these kits. They work on different frequencys so I had to install both sending units on my bike. The problem is neather will work when they are both installed. I had to install a two position switch with a center off inbetween the two sending units. Now when I am riding two up I switch it so only my wifes helmet works and when I am riding solo I switch it so only my helmet lites up with the brake light. I installed both sending units and the switch inside the tail trunk lid. The wiring is already there. The switch on the light has five positions, off, on only with your brake light, on stesdy all the time, slow flash, fast flash.
For some reason, this is not as comfortable for me as I expected.
Easy to install - very noticeable - look great - worth the money!
One more step along the way to chroming everything in sight. Easy install.
This was easy to install and provides a subtle dress up of the front fender.
