| Installed these on my 2010 Wing with 25,000 miles on it.If you ride your bike on mountain roads these are a must. Superior damping, increased ground clearance, and enhanced stability make my Goldwing feel like it just lost 300 lbs. Came back from a 250 mile test ride with a huge grin on my face. Definitely worth the price and easy to install. I also installed new fork seal kit from Wingstuff while I was at it. Best 400 dollars you can spend on your bike. |
| After 2 or 3 years, the chrome started peeling off. I now need to decide if I'm going to replace them with the same ones or just re-install the original footpegs. I have 2 goldwings, one with and one without the floorboards. On aggressive rides, with a lot of cornering, I prefer without the floorboards. The floorboards limits your cornering abilities. Regardless, I do prefer riding with the floorboards as it is more comfortable when cruising. Too bad the quality of the chroming isn't very good. Not sure on Kyryaken's policy regarding replacing defective product after warranty period? |
| I just put it on my 2008 pearl white Goldwing this weekend. I Also installed TailBlazer Rear Spoiler Brake & Running Light Modulator (K125LEDD). The installation went okay. The only thing I would recommend is to go out and purchase the size drill bits they recommend in the insulation instructions. The final bit I did go a 1/32†smaller which worked okay except for the wire hole I went with the size they recommended. The normal drill bit sets do not have the drill size they recommend. I used the template that was in the instructions but I notice they almost aligned up with the marks on the trunk (within 1/64 of an inch on two of them), so I used the marks. The marks worked great. I started with the small drill bit first from the underside of the trunk. When I went to the next larges drill bit, I tried drilling from the top side and it chipped the paint. Tape may have help but I didn’t try it. I did the remainder of the drilling from the underside of the trunk. The paint matched perfectly! |
| My wife and I just finished a 3300 hundred mile ride and she loves them. My wife is around 5'7" or 8" tall and it gives her extra leg position for them long days of riding, and they look GREAT. Greet product!!! |
| I recently installed the Progressive Suspension Monotube kit on a Honda 2002 GL1800 Wing, pretty straight foward install if you have rebuild the GL1800 forks before. One thing I ran into was on the re-assemble of the left fork , the damper rod allen retainer bolt does not want to tighten as normal,with the stock damper rod you can hold the rod with a tapered shaft inside the damper rod from the top,or use fork spring pressure to press against the damper rod to hold the damper rod in place. Because the Progressive assembly has no access to the damper rod from the top the damper rod trys to spin while torqueing the bolt to the proper spec, something I am going to look in to. After the install I went for a test drive, what I felt over the stock ride was more travel than before with more control,but a bit harsh, I used the recommended 1 pre-load shim. I am going to put at least 1000 miles on the set up before I fully judge the ride. I have been installing Progressive suspension products for over 25 years and most springs and dampeners some time to settle in. If the ride does not soften some then I might remove the pre-load shims for a softer ride, it's nice that is an option. |
| What was Honda thinking? Not a hard install if you are mechanically inclined. Got it done in 2 hours and 15 minutes. You need two things, an I pad and Steve Saunders you tube video for installing. The rest of the tools are minimal. Set up the I pad on the work bench and just follow along. Install is not for someone that does not enjoy learning their bike inside and out. If you struggle with basic oil changes this install is not for you. Take it to the dealer. Wing stuff was awesome as always with quick delivery. |
| I spent a great deal of time researching new tires for my 07 wing. Bridgestone tires had the best reviews and were a great value. The stones are on all the 2013 & 2014 wings. I ordered Tuesday at 10 am and had them on the east coast at noon Wednesday. Wow, didn't expect that!! . Put the tires on and what a difference. Brand new bike feel again. |

I purchased this at Wing Ding in 2011 from Wingstuff and within a year, the chrome on the top and underside was rusting. The top was just noticeable and the underside looked like a it was completely rusting through with not a single iota of clean metal. Wingstuff replaced the part for me and it has been another year. Guess what- its rusting just as bad. As I really don't want to go through the new part shuffle every year I may clean it up and paint it black to stop the rust. As a cup holder, this is great and my wife loves it for our trips. As far as a quality product from Kuryakyn, good luck. I've had 2 now and both have the same results. For the price I would think they would give you something that wouldn't rust as easily. As far as Wingstuff's customer service, they are great. However, I do not see the point in returning this for a second time as its not Wingstuff's fault that Kuryakyn can't get their quality up to a good standard. |
| This is a nice backrest and pouch! It was so simple to install I actually had to go back and re-read the instructions to make sure I hadn't forgotten something! Very comfortable and almost infinitely adjustable. |
| I had these put on my 2012 Wing as soon as they took it out of the crate. They give the bike a fun, low rumble without disturbing the neighbors or requiring ear plugs every time you start the engine. The get a lot of attention too! Very glad my dealer recommended them! |
| This really makes the glove box on the Generation 2 Gold Wing a very usable space! It's so nice not having a drink holder hanging on the bars and blocking my view of part of the dash. The glove box itself is handy, but this Cubby makes it much better. |
| We received our new windshield (F4 +4 without vent) for our '08 GL1800 trike. Between the video and the printed instructions, the install was fairly easy. Dropped the rubber washers into the bike after removing the wrong bolts by the side mirrors. Retrieving them was successful and the project continued. The next little mis-step was trying to lock in position 4 since this is the +4 and will not be adjusted. You have to PUSH the center slider DOWM and it will click. Then you move it up one click at a time and you are good to finish the install. We had left the plastic the windshield was sealed in on the windshield until we were finished (removing only what we needed to at the bottom). When we stripped off the plastic, we were amazed to see how clear it was...almost invisible. Then we noticed a small bubble at the top edge of the windshield. It was a defect in the acrylic. I called F4 and left a message. I got a call back in less than 15 minutes. I told them the problem and a new windshield is on the way to us. The removal and install the second time will be a snap! Nice folks to talk to and no hassle for replacement. They gave me a choice of a partial refund or replacement. I wanted it to be perfect. A return label will come with the new one and we will be fine. We also installed the Utopia backrest, but that's another review. |
