Easy to install and they "fit" nicely. I will agree with other reviews when I place my feet on my highway pegs I do notice quite a bit more heat on my legs. But hey that's not always a bad thing in northern New York!!!!
I ordered a pair installed crackled sounded like they were blown out on day one....Wingstuff hooked me up casue i was leaving for a 8,000 mile trip in a few days got the replacement set they sounded like garbage too. put stock goldwing back in!!! the front ones do sound better but don't waste your time and money on this garbage for the rear!

Last week I drove up to Kentucky from Oklahoma and got caught in a horrible storm. Sheets of water were coming down. The road had rain grooves. Normally, my front end would be wobbling and I would be fighting to keep the handlebars stable. I wouldn't like to drive in that weather again, but having the centramatics installed along with the superbrace, I felt more confident on the bike.
I purchased the Clymer service manual shortly after buying my used GL1500 and couldn't be happier. A must have if you have any mechanical inclinations and intend on saving yourself some money and completing at least some of your servicing, maintenance and/or troubleshooting on your own.
I finally had a chance to take this on an all day ride. Temperatures were in the low to mid 90's and the vents worked better than any other vented helmet I've ever had. I could actually feel the breeze, which felt pretty good on a hot, humid day. Pretty tight compared to other HJC helmets I've owned. Hope it loosens up over time. If you want one try to see them in person to find the right size for you.
I bought this windshield because I was missing the wind in my face feel while riding but wanted the option of protecting my wife and getting out of the rain. This windshield is perfect. During the summer months and when I am riding 1 up I have it down but if my wife wants to ride it takes just minutes to bring the upper windshield into play. It looks great, is made out very durable material, and is extremely functional. The downside is that the lower half is extremely dark and hard to see through but you get used to it. I am only 5'7" tall and have the windshield at the highest position for short rides 2 up. If I were always riding alone I would have it in the lowest position to make it easier to see the road ahead.
I brought one and liked it so much that I ordered 3 more. These are a snap to install. I cut the other D rings off and open them wide enough to get strap in, simple as that. The old ones had 2 pins that you had to line up and they would always give me trouble; one would go in and not the other and had to pull strap over my head w/helment to fix it. A pain when would fall out on a ride. When these close shut you can definitely know it by the loud snap sound it makes. I believe they are as safe as if not safer than the rest of quick releases.
I received my cover today and it only took 3 days.Man they shipped it the same day.As soon as I took it out the bag I knew it was a better cover than the 2 I own now. It felt heaver and that was what I needed cause my trike(GL1800 w/Motor Trike Adventuer Kit)sets under the carport and the other 2 covers just were so thin they rottened out. Yes 2 in 4 years.I don,t know why I bother w/other websites when Wingstuff always has what,s best for us winggers. A perfect fit and love that zipper. Not to lose and not to tight. It even goes down farther than the others so as to cover the tires.Loveiy cover Wingstuff and at a very very resonable price. Thanks for protecting and careing about our Wings.
Great effect without being over the top. Very nice
Easy to fit, great look. Wife thinks it draws your vision further towards the sharks fins.

I too fell into the EU/AU trap and bought this only to find it interfered with the HISS. However, thanks to a great tip from Prankster, Sydney (page 2) she now starts no problem and the desired chrome effect is maintained. With a modeling saw and some patience (it is only soft plastic) I took about 2mm off the depth of the inner ring. Scrape the sawn edge with a Stanley knife and bingo. It just needs to be short enough not to touch the key surround. Gerad, I hope you've still got yours, it's worth a go. |
