This exhaust sounds great! It has a nice throaty sound to it and was not that difficult to install with the right tools. I added the K&N air filter as well Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a little more performance.
Didn't write a review for my first set of Bridgestones and I should have because these are great tires for your Goldwing. I really can feel them bite into the road when cornering probably a little harder than I should on a 800 pound bike. They are smooth and a pleasure to have under your bike. I can't say enough good things about these tires and I will never go back to Dunlops unless these tires change something about their makeup. Buy them you won't be sorry.

Not sure yet how I feel about my Centramatic Wheel Balancers. Riding on concrete the bike seems to lope down the road and they have created a bit of a wobble. On asphalt they seem a lot smoother without the lope. Keep in mind this is at speeds in excess of 85 to 90 mph. and I seldom ride for prolonged periods at those speeds. That was my first impression, however they seem to be smoothing out with time and use. They are paired with new Bridgestones and I love those tires. This is my second set of "Stones" and they love my GL1800, smooth and grippy. I will never go back to Dunlops but that is another review. I will have to update this review when I can spend some more time on asphalt and like I said they seem to be getting smoother. Tire wear is something I will keep an eye on as well. They are spendy so I am hoping they will live up to all the five star reviews I have read. But at first use right out of the box I am holding off giving them a 5, hence the 4 stars. |
Recieved my vest today wanted it for my Patriot Guard patches I was surprised when I checked out the inner pockets and found it had a holster and velcro in the other side should be a good vest

Unfortunately I did a stationary dump of my new Gold Wing and broke the right peg. Six phone calls, an agreement that they would provide a replacement one for $60.00, and expected dellivery from a few weeks to more than a year and no joy. Today's story is that they won't make any spares until fall and the price for just the peg is $165.00. Like I said great peg but don't expect any after markey support. |
We bought these bags for our 5500 mile road trip that we just completed. We couldn't have been happier with the fit and quality of these bags. These made the daily in and out of motel rooms a snap !
This does help the key ring from being scratched. Easy to put on.
I bought this to compliment the DVD set from Fred H which is excellent and highly recommend as well. This book is huge and very detailed. It came with all the updates and with a 3 ring binder. I was very impressed.
These were one of the easiest thing to replace on the GL1800 and you know they will give you a reliable long life just like the ones you took out.
When you have to dig this deep into your bike to replace a $15-20 part, you want it to fit and with OEM, it will every time.
I have not had a chance to use them in temps below 45 degrees yet but I can sure tell the difference in the amount of wind hitting my hands when I have them closed off vs opened. They were very easy to install and are easy to adjust with it's ratcheting type mount. Seems very durable.
Install was easy very well thought out.. I'm a mechanic who is used to things being not quite right this gets a 10 in my book for precise workmanship. I fresh breeze in my world
