| I had mats in my 01 and loved them. Bought these for my new 14 and these are much better than my last set. Perfect fit and I really like the bottom of them good grip.. VERY VERY HAPPY |

Well, I've now been using this for over 4 years and have had no problems with it at all. So, durability has not been an issue for me. Definitely glad I got this little thing. I have toyed with the idea of taking the remote off the keychain and keeping it in a jacket pocket. In the end I decided to leave it on the key chain with the key because I use several different jackets and I didn't want to have to worry about remembering to grab it and transfer it every time I switched jackets. |

This thing is a great, inexpensive way to increase the size of your kickstand footprint and provide extra stability. Install was a snap and it works wonders. For those occasions when I need an even bigger footprint for the kickstand - perhaps some soft ground, I use the Portable Parking Kickstand Pad (SCSTK01). |
| Most miles are riding 2 up. Dunlops were lowest miles. Meztler and Bridgestone got 11000 and 10000 miles respectively. In all fairness, I ran a higher psi (46/49) which seemed ok for the Meztler, but was too high for the Bridgestone. I will try another set of Bridgestone, run the 41/42 psi others have posted, and see if I can do better. |

This thing is great! Like the similar fairing storage components, it isn't beautiful. Having said that, I don't find it offensive and I do find it incredibly useful! Chapstick, money for tolls, my phone, a camera...I've used it for all kinds of stuff. I'm tempted to buy another one so I have it when the current one wears out. |
| I can get wholesale oil, but choose the Honda oil to make sure that I am lubricating the bike properly. There is not enough savings difference to take the chance. Very satisfied. |
| Power for one device is good. Power for 2 devices is better. That cubby is tight, but that isn't the fault of this device. It works as intended, and if so inclined, you can also take it with you in the car. |
| I switched to "Stones" for one reason. I do not like the feel of a cupped tire, front or rear, when I drop into a corner. I ride hard and want full contact with the road and a cupped tire is not in full contact. Stones do not cup on my 2010 1800. I ran Dunlops for years on my 1500 and then again on my 1800 but switched to Stones and have run them for about the last 50k miles. I get about 14k miles out of the stones depending on where I am riding and this is just a little better than the Dunlop E3 mileage I was getting. The heavier the right hand the shorter the tire life. |
| I'm very pleased with this windshield. It's the best of both worlds. I can have the 11 inch smoked shield by itself and catch the right amount of wind to my upper face and helmet vents or I can add the clear portion for a full 19 inch shield. With this configuration, there is virtually no wind at all. It changes over very quickly and without tools. |
| I understand why Honda went from the roller bearings to the ball bearings but I don't think it was a good move by Honda engineers. The roller bearings were used in the 1500 for years and they had no problems but when they designed the 1800 they went to what they were using on the track. The Ball Berings are great for the lighter bikes and give you a much lighter force to turn the handle bars but Honda missed the target on this one. The balls have such a small surface area that there is to much force per square inch for the design on the 1800. at 77k miles I could feel the detentes in the steering caused by the balls beating pockets into the race surface. The bearings at this point started to loosen up so it was time to replace them with the proper design of bearing. The roller type of bearing will support the weight and not cause damage to the race so I expect these bearings to last the same as the ones in the 1500s. 200k or 300k miles for these instead of 77k and coompletely shot. |
| Wanted an American flag for my bike that honored my country. This entire system: the flag, the chrome stand is very good quality. Have had it for over a year and flag is still in great condition and is not fraid at ends. Folds down when I cover the bike. Recommend it to any lovers of America |
