Have had Utopia, and it is very good. This back rest is a couple notches above! Requires same prep as Utopia. Have to cut and clear Chanel to insert the support. The support channel that this backrest slides into, is heavy duty, built to last. You can adjust the height of the backrest as well as angle, or remove it writhing a couple seconds. Very impressed. It fells like it is slightly wider and taller than the Utopia which provides excellent support.
Solid and very good looking. Expect them to last!
Great look, easy install for just about anyone. If you can change a light bulb, you can probably do this. Draw less amps than conventional fog lights.
Yep, made for this application. Plug & play. Something simple but meets a very high standard of quality and materials.
Easy to install, however it is easy to scratch. Still very good looking.
Thsi was an easy install even with the Add-On Hitch installed. It looks fantastic but does have a small flaw the Chrome metal inset tends to come out of the rubber flap at the right and left edges. I do have a solution I applied some pookie (Pookie is a scientific term for sticky stuff) and that fixed it. Does the job and looks great too.
I have actually bought 2 of these one is installed on my 2003 GL1800 with a Hannigan Sidecar and the other is on my Gl1800 Navi 2 wheeler. Did first install in April and another in May. Sidecar wsas more of a challenge but only took a little longer. The 2 wheeler was easier as a normal install took less than 2 hours even with a coffee break included.... now I can take the trailer with either bike.
My Girl Friend loves these armrests. To gives an added sense of security riding in the back. So comfortable.
I did this install in a matter of minuets even adding the plug to my Bushtec Quantum GLGT trailer as see in another review.. I have been using it since April and we love the whole rig. Thanks to the WingStuff staff for providing quality products at great pricing. By far my favorite place to by stuff for both of my Gold Wings....
Install was very easy,,I did the warranty online which gives you two years instead of 1 year through mail in..I have read the bad reviews and will update if there is a problem,,But for now they are very stylish and she loves them,,I also like the flip up rather then the others that slide out to the side,,Plus the different ways to adjust, although we didn't need to.My gl1800 is always garaged so again I will update in the future if they fail..But right now we are happy with them.

I purchased this battery a couple of years ago and it's still going strong. I do use a Battery Tender to keep it charged if I'm not riding a few weeks. I've not had it fail me like previous batteries from other companies. I run heated gear on the GW as well. I would purchase again. |

Had this on,Bike falls over in garage ,not going there. Be nice if you could just get a replacement (1 side). Very much like the mirrors with lights,You don't have to look down just look at the mirror and go. Treat yourself. Dave. |
