This was an easy install. Had to drill new holes and paint the aluminum bracket black, but it did come with the necessary nuts & bolts to finish the install. Real easy to run the wires up to the rear center run light (separate job converting the factory center brake only light into a run/brake) and splice in. this looks VERY good. |
i purchased these at the Lone Star Rally in Galveston Texas. They definitely block the hot and cold air.
Really nice addition to front of trike. Added turn signal lighting is nice. Nice fit.

Had these installed recently on my 2007GW1800 trike as shown in the picture. Looks nice. Brightness is between the low beam and high beam. They are not as bright I was expecting and hoping for longer distance focused beam. They get really hot. Price may not be bad if you install them yourself, but after product cost and installation I did not see additional benefit. |
Nice but mounting bracket not for GL 1800 2nd Gen without some modification.Holes don't match up .Had to relocate mounting bracket holes. Also no mounting bracket bolts an nuts came with kit just bolts an nuts for attaching flap to bracket.
I use this all the time for maintenance - it really did pay for itself the first time I used it - you won't be disappointed if you get this - I would buy it again in a heartbeat!!!! I would give it 6 Stars if I could!!!!
I recently added these to my 2012 with a custom Corbin seat and together, the comfort llevel can't be beat. My wife immediately felt more comfort with somewhere to rest her arms. It also made her feel more attached to the bike by adding a feel of added stability.Installation was easy as long as you don't mind drilling holes in your baby. If you have a CB (dual antennas), the install will be much easier because the steps for left/right are exactly the same. The only downside is you lose a little space in your rear storage pockets due to the install required brackets that are placed inside each pocket. The storage pockets are still very useable. The cupholder makes it all worth it.
Purchased this item about three years ago. Very functional but the chrome has rusted and pitted. Either bad batch or cheap chrome. I have several other kurykyn accessories with no complaints.
Looks great for the first 6months, then started pitting with with the Crome coming off, not acceptable for wingstuff to continue selling such trash downgrading their own credibility..
Got my set in a couple of days ago but had time yesterday after work. Directions pretty straight forward. After marking and drilling the trim pieces I went up in hole size several times then one size over the screw size. Everything lined up perfect until I went to install the wings. Top and middle holes lined up fine. Both bottom holes were almost 1/4" too short. I had to enlarge the oval to fit the screw into the hole. After installation I took the bike out for a short quick ride and am pretty happy with how it works. No deflection for the lower leg area though.
Look real good and are very comfortable, easy to fit.
Had these insalled with new tires prior to last winters layup Started riding this spring was impressed with the smooth ride feel at all speeds from 20. To 105 ya got to let it breath a little . All was looking good on my testing till I had a major cord seperation at aprox 6500 miles on the rear tire was at the WingDing in Billings .Brigestone stepped up and gave me both tires even thought the front was good the rear had 3 splits 2 where 4in 3rd was almost 6in scarry. Have 4000 on the new tires barely any wear soo far. Am happy sofar with centramatics hoping for 16000 on read and 21000 on front time will tell
