I ordered these in Nov 2016 and they finally shipped in Jan 2017. I took a partial day to work on the install of the lights and got the low beams swapped with no problem. I went to do the high beams and there were no spacers in the kit for the bulbs. I called Wingstuff and explained the situation. The person I spoke with took my name and number and said he was going to contact Electrical Connections about it. He called me back in about 30 minutes and said he had spoken to Electrical Connections and they would ship out a set of spacers for me the next day (Friday). On Monday, I had the new spacers and had to wait till Wednesday to install the bulbs. Little did I realize what an ordeal it would be to change the bulbs. The left high beam required me to pull the top shelter off and move a big wire bundle out of the way to get to the bulb. Took me 2 hrs to get the one bulb replaced!! In comparison, the right high beam took 15 minutes. I finally got a chance to ride at night with the new bulbs in and I love how much brighter they are. This is more a compliment to Wingstuff and their staff for making things right for me as a customer and selling great products like these lights. Thanks guys and gals!!!! |
This bag is easily attached to rack. And very secure. Wife packed for a week trip. Mississippi, Louisiana,Texas,New Mexico and Colorado. Rain cover is easy to put on and fits tight. So just put it on. Held up in torrential rain, sleet and light snow. This bag is amazing. It has also traveled to Florida in extreme heat.
I now have the complete set of wings, the person I bought the bike from had some painted rendition of the hand wing was not even mounted with the correct hardware. I installed the new hand wings now they all match (light smoke) air flow is adjustable and can direct heat to the rider if needed or away in the summer months. If your wanting to try them do not hesitate they work.
These are pretty cool. They solve the problem of the trunk lid hitting and rubbing on the trunk bottom. It keeps the lower section from getting scratched up and looking ugly. Bad part is you have to drill holes in your "baby" but it's pretty easy to install. Took me about 30 minutes total.
Installation should have taken a half hour but i spent an hour trying to get the front hinge back on. Rear hinge was easy, but front hinge was a bear. I finally removed the front hinge from the bike. (takes a T25 torx tamper resistant with the hole in the middle) Don't remove the front hing from the saddle bag. Remove it from the bike. It will go much quicker and you'll save yourself a ton of frustration. Rear hinge was no problem. I am also going to cut the wire for the turn signal. I don't like a giant red signal on the rear. Just my preference.
I thought long a hard before I made the jump to purchase theses lights, but Im very glad I did. The lights installed in about an hour, but hardest part came when putting in the switch. I had to use a dremal tool to to trim a little plastic off the back cover of the electronic switch panel to be able to install the cover back on. Once the back cover was on, everything went back together and all worked as it should. As other reviews stated. When the bright fog lights are on, the yellow turn signal is difficult to see. When just the running lights are are on, the yellow turning lights are very bright. I recommend getting the flashers for LEDs. All the flashing synced up once I installed this flasher. If you make the jump and get these lights, you will not be dissatisfied.
I've owned these for about 4 years and have had no problems. If you have problems lining up the seat bolts, buy the tapered ones, they do help.
Made hooking up music a breeze
Worked great
I installed these on my 2010 GW back in 2013. They have held up great and still look like new. Have not had any problems with them and love to looks on the side of the bike.

See my earlier review "Hang Onto Your Bars" for background. I now have the E4 on both front and back. There is still the tracking issue when you get on grooved cement. However, once I have adjusted to the eerie feel it is not quite as disconcerting. Only 4 stars because of this issue. The upgrade from 3 stars is because the wear on these tires seems to be even better than the E3. I believe I will be getting much longer mileage out of these tires. |
Have gone through 2 of these poles and a number of flags which come unsewed and ravel in several hundred miles. Bought a heavier duty flag and pole broke after 200 miles. Pole looks great but didn't hold up and flags are very cheaply made.
