Had these on my 09 with heated grips, had to put setting on max to feel the heat. Covers without end weights would put my right hand to sleep (too buzzy), installed there bolt on end weights & still a little buzzy, took them off & have stock heated grips with foam covers & stock end weights & now perfect
I just bought this and it looks great. Just take off the original and put this one on. Now I need to get the Timing cover.
We have two F6B's. Mine has the wingstuff brand belly pan. I just purchased the Show Chrome one for my wife's bike. Easy to install but not the front section is not nearly as easy to access and reinstall when changing oil. The Wingstuff brand has two twist screws that turn about a quarter of an inch to release the front section when changing oil. Very easy. The show chrome on the other hand, has two Allen head screws that release the front section. This makes it more difficult when replacing after an oil change. You have to line up the holes perfectly to screw back in and then use an Allen wrench while lying upside down. One belly pan is easier to install and the other is easier to use. Something to consider when buying.
Got installed 7-1-2017. Are very bright. Will make approaching vehicles c me better. I do recommend these for added safety.
This holder was already installed on a used GL1800 Trike I bought last week. It worked GREAT until I visited a friend who lives on a dirt road. I hit a bump and the cup holder suddenly rotated to the left (I didn't know it could rotate, or why it would), the cup fell out, spilled my water all over the gas tank and my right leg. The metal cup continued to the ground where my rear tire ran over and crushed it! I'm now looking for an alternative, and larger, cup holder.
I love these Lights! The Day Time running Lights are Bright and very Detailed. The Turn are Very Clean and Detailed Also. Really makes the Bike even look better.Would have gave a 5 Star but the Running Lights (not turn Signals) are powered by Auxiliary Power. So if you are Listening to Music with out the Bike running your lights will be on also.
Really makes the bike stand out in the daytime, especially when running the high beams! Install was a little challenging on the high beams on my 2015 but got them all done in about 3 hours, including the ballasts.
I got the black to go with my murdered out wing. There were a few small nicks but it looks so good I can't complain. If anything it sits a bit too low. I got the risers to add more of a base to the trunk and now it sits perfect for me. Perhaps it's a bit difficult to wash and wax under it, I'll take the rack off once a year and take care of that.
I pre ordered my freewire waited 2 1/2 months, bought duel S20's now saving for the 2nd freewire for the passenger. Everything I have tested is first rate, sound, phone, CB and mp3 all come in clear. Was a snap to pair installed in left side pocket (on the lid) my only complaint to many wires in the box. If you are ready to cut the cord then this is the what you should use. PS have some tips one where freewire #2 will be mounted.
I have to say that when you identify a product problem (previously note here in the reviews)to the folks at Show Chrome, it's worked to completion. Thanks to Brandon for his tenacity and complete dedication toward working a problem until its fixed. The Tridium LED Lights work excellent, both the daylight running lights and the full up Driving Lights. Recommend this product and buying from Show Chrome.
review stated fits GL 1500 A but small print reads up to 1997 my bike is a 1998 and they do not fit - was going on trip and changed these the day before (Sunday) all dealers in area closed tried on Monday out of three dealers said could order bulbs for me but would be several days before i received, leaving on trip on Tuesday - will just have to burn high beams till return
Don't waste your time or money if you have a 2010 Goldwing with heated grips. Does not fit. Wingstuff not much help nor Show Chrome. They ate the money.
