7 LED Mirrors Blue for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG34225

07.30.2018
Installed these on my 2016 Goldwing F6B. Good product. Looks great, very visible, easy to install. The only problem is that the mirror and hardware were upside down. Easy enough to fix, just unhook the mounting bracket and turn it around. The Muth Signal USA logo is now on top and upside down instead of being right side up on the bottom like it should be. Slightly annoying, but not a deal breaker. For a $200 set of mirrors, I don't think it's out of line to expect them to be correct.

Dunlop Elite 4 Tires for GL1800 2001-2018+
ITEM CODE: PG37488

07.29.2018
So, I've tried them all. I ride an 80 mile round trip commute daily, therefore, that's 15-20k per year. That said; I change tires about once if not twice a year. My last set was Avon. They lasted longer (in miles driven) then Michellan (11k), Elte 3"s (12k) and 3k longer than either of 3 sets of Bridgestones(around 15k each)
Point to make about the Avon's, the Avon's were much better handling (that new tire feeling) for much longer BY FAR then any other...PERIOD!!! Moving on; My local Motorcycle guru mechanic dude, that's really good BTW, urged me to try the Elite 4's this time. I thought "what the hell". After 2k, they're pretty cool. Pro: When twisting the bike around turns, they're spectacular. "Maybe even better then the Avon's" (Read my Avon revue). However, those other E 4 revue's that point out that the front tire follows road snakes & grooved roads like a squirrel"..... are very accurate. Whether this turns out to be an acceptable trade off for manufacturer claimed durability, I'll let you know when I get there. Therefore, and, thinking in the "what if", if they end up lasting 20k plus, I'll put them on again. If they end up lasting only as long as previous Avon's..Back to Avon. I'll update at 10k and let you know what's happening then. P.S. Avon's don't wander...

Kuryakyn Chrome Luggage Rack w/Rubber Inlay for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7151,   SKU: KU7151

07.29.2018
I have a 2006 Goldwing and I never put anything on the rack until I went out west in 2014. I carried my helmet on it and sometimes a sleeping bag. I always had a microfiber cloth between the rack and anything I carried. The chrome plating wore off quickly and there was a copper color under it. The chrome started peeling off and now the rack sits outside on a scrap heap. I have the holes in the trunk plugged up with clear sealant. I want another trunk rack but I would be forced to get another one of these for the holes to line up. I wouldn't waste my money on another Kuryakyn. I have seen better chrome plating on bathroom fixtures.

Motorcycle Tire Ceramic Balancing Beads
ITEM CODE: PG27738

07.28.2018
The beads were easy to install if you follow instructions. Had just installed new front tire after having flat tire. Rode for a few weeks without any type of balancing on new tire and felt no vibration. Installed beads and really felt no difference. Was hoping for better wear if nothing else. About third time checking my air pressure a bead stuck in valve core. Lucky I was home and was able to use compressor to dislodge bead. Now every time I put air in I have to make sure I have spray bottle with soapy water and air supply just in case. It's not worth the hassle. Will break tires down and get rid of beads.

I tried installing this on my 2018 Honda Goldwing Tour today, 6/21/18. They were easy to install but one of the pads came off right away. There is a screw that's supposed to hold them in place but the screw is too short. Went looking for a longer one but the Ace hardware store was already closed and Home Depot didn't have any long enough. It should be about 3 1/2" to 3 3/4 long to make it all the way to secure the last smaller pad. I had a hard time getting the pad in a position that will make it easy to fit my boot under the gear shift without placing it in an awkward position plus there is not enough clearance it that peg was to hit on a curve. The peg hits the peg bracket easily. Not sure if I will install them back but will try to find a longer screw to fix the problem with the pad. Not really too happy with them right now. Maybe it fits better on other models but not the 2018 Tour.

I installed this windshield today, 6/21/18, and it looks pretty good. Much wider and taller than my stock one. I did have to research how to install it since it didn't have instructions but was able to find it on Cruiseman's Garage and it was easy. I really like the look and feel of it.

Makes the bike look great. It took 3 hours to install because 4 bolts broke off and I had to remove the mufflers which was easy to remove. Drilled out broken bolts installed helicoil and used new bolts.

Dunlop Elite 4 Tires for GL1800 2001-2018+
ITEM CODE: PG37488

07.18.2018
My first set of Elite 4 gave me 14300 miles on the rear with 2/32 left on the tire, minimal cupping.

I ride 1 up, about 11K of the miles were with trunk, saddle bags loaded and a bag also in the rear seat - so, maybe an extra 80 pounds of weight. I ride long and hard over hot surfaces throughout the summer at 75- 80 MPH.

The front still has about 3/32 of tread left at 12600 miles, but I switched it out with a new one as I am planning on a 3K trip next month.

The front does wander a little on the grooved surfaces, but I have gotten used to it. They do not grab as well as the softer competitors because the center of the tire is said to be a harder rubber for mileage, but, when in the twisties, they do hold the corners fairly well. I find I am slowing down more in the rain and on slick surfaces than I have with the Elite 3s. I like them well enough to have bought a second set.
