Michelin Tire review
| Bought these tires not long after they came out from WingStuff but I had a good set of Bridgestones on my Wing so they were stored for a while. A few months ago I removed the Bridgestones with 50% wear and installed the Michelin tires I got from Wingstuff. The tires had no markings for heavy or light point. I did a static balance and there was noticable vibration from the front wheel. I rebalanced the front tire three times with no improvement. Today I removed the front tire and replaced it with a lightly used Bridgestone problem gone. I've been through 3 sets of Bridgestones and they're great tires but I hoped the Michelin's would last longer than the 12k I averaged from the Bridgestones. I've always had good service from Michelin tires and hoped they would last longer than the Bridgestones but I can't tollerate vibration on a Goldwing. I'll run the rear Michelin/front Bridgstone and see how they wear however the riding season is about done until spring. I'm an aggressive rider and this setup handles very well. The Michelin tires are made in Thailand, that suprised me. Appears Michelin has problems with their front tire, hopefully they sort it out and get it fixed but I'll stay with Bridgestone until then! |

Bad tire/s
| At the time of this post 7/1/25, I purchased both the front and rear tires for 2023 goldwing your. I went with the W GT because Michelin has made amazing touring tires for quite some time "commanders", everyone I know that has them loves them. I figured they would of made an amazing tire for this as well. I ordered had the tires installed by the dealer using balance beads. Immediately once I got on the highway the front tire had a major balance issue "I have used balanced beads for a few years and never had issues". I went back to the dealer and had them rebalance it with weights, there wasn't much of a gain. They wanted the bike so I left it, a few days later I get a call, they tell me the following: they switched the front tire with another W GT and it vibrated as well. They then used a whole other wheel and a W GT on it to rule out the wheel being bad and it still vibrated. They put another tire on and the vibration went away. 2 brand new tires and they did the same thing, I wouldn't purchase. Michelin didn't do their testing on these tires for sure. I would not purchase. Let them figure out the issue first. |

New Brand
| Hi Have been a Dunlop rider for several years... And now it's time for me to try Michelin again. Last time was in the early 90s on my bikes. The original Dunlop Elite 4 were okay and did what they were supposed to. Nothing special to note. We drove 15,000 km before we changed to these new tires. We could probably drive at least 3000 km more on the original. But I'm going on a longer trip in a few weeks and the workshop had an appointment for a change. Stupid not to take it ;) Have now driven these tires for at least 3000km with these For now I can only say that the grip and torque with these tires are completely OK. However, I experience a certain louder noise from the front. More like a louder "fan" sound. At first I thought it was the motorcycle's fans. Will be more excited how durable it is. We have Centramics stabilizers mounted on the front and rear wheels. |

Great tires so far
| I have about 1k miles on these are they have great grip. I haven't road in inclement weather so cannot comment here or about longevity. Being a new product to the market for Goldwings it will be trial and error but so far so good. |
