| not plug n play for 2005 and older. Instrution say to strip the wires and soder. I choose to use 3M splicers worked great. easy to install adds beauty and saftey to the bike. |

| I have a backrest on my GL1100 when I bought an 1800 this was the first thing I added. Easy to install great for a passenger to get on. I only wish it went back a little further. |
