This kit was well thought out, designed, and made. That being said, only real one issue that I ran across was the bolts themselves, they need to be painted or replaced with stainless steel. Mine rusted within a to see if the few days of installation. It holds together great, just looks bad when they rust up. I have to keep painting them. And it's just the top one that is exposed on the mount. the other is hidden away, and I am sure, rusted but no one can see it. The top one is in plan view when others look at my bike and see it. If you order this kit, replace the bolts at your local hard wear store or auto supply shop, use grade 8 SS bolts. then you will not have any issues at all. Good luck out there!
