Performance Stainless Steel Belly Pan for GL1800
ITEM CODE: WS187416, SKU: WS187416

A Must Have
Replaced an older aluminum belly pan with this stainless steel and was very impressed with the sturdiness of the SS. The old aluminum pan had a large hole in it from a large rock kicked up by the front wheel. Would recommend SS over the aluminum. If you don't file the edges, wear gloves when installing and be sure to take off ALL the protective covering on both sides. As mentioned earlier, these belly pans have slots (holes) rather than notches, so the installation bots must be removed to bolt them on. Removal and installation took less than 30 minutes. No problems with rattling, as earlier posters have noted. Some say a belly pan helps with stabalization of the bike with cross winds on the highway. I can't address that issue, as I've always ridden with the pan installed. |
Chrome Radio Panel Accent for GL1800

More bling
I don't like a lot of bling, so I didn't add too much to the dash area (see pictures). If you're thinking about a radio accent, spend the extra couple of bucks and get this one - it's metal vs. plastic. Only had to make a slight modification (bend) to make it fit perfectly. As others have stated - take your time and make SURE it fits before removing the double sided tape. You only get one chance. I opted for the chrome radio knobs (plastic) with makes it look even better. Be careful taking off the old knobs; be sure to remove the little retaining ring inside them. You need to install that ring on the new knobs. |

Great Value
You can't beat the price and it really dresses up the trunk. Maybe a little large, but mine lays flat and will keep everything from rolling around. Perfect fit on the saddlebags. Much nicer than the plastic lining. Helmets won't get scratched up now. |

A little pricey for plastic
Nice look and EASY install, but I wish it were metal. We'll see how it holds up over time. |
