Once the youngest Goldwing owner in the US. I bought my first Goldwing (Bright Yellow) in the Spring of 1976 at the ripe old age of 16, and loved that bike more than any other I had ever owned.

Due to the "Exuberance of youth" I traded it in for a car, (You know,because of GIRLS) and went sans motorcycle until I bought an '83 1000 Custom, which I also loved very much.....It met an untimely end at the hand of an idiot younger brother without permission to ride, and once again, I was sans motorcycle.

We were wiped out by Hurricane Charley in August of 2004, and I ended up with mold poisioning and almost expired.....I started getting better in 2006 and wanted a bike to get me out of the house again, so I found a nice Yamaha Vmax and was in the wind again, only this time, being an old MARRIED guy, my wife couldn't stand riding the Vmax, so I went on an all-out search for a Goldwing (I had ALWAYS wanted another one).

Late April of 07, just a couple of weeks ago actually, I found a great deal and picked up a sparkling blue, brand new '07 GL 18P.

I love it, MY WIFE loves it (She's fallen asleep on it several times now), the kids love it and hell, as far as I know the dogs even love it...LOL

I'm back in the wind with the greatest motorcycle ever created, and next year, I hope to upgrade to the Navigation model, or flying model, or WHATEVER new innovation Honda has in store for us.....I'm a happy guy.
