Avon Cobra Chrome Radial Tires for GL1800

| I have not bought the cobra radials yet. I was reading the reviews first, it seems to be a good tire. I have almost 9,000 miles on the original set of dunlops that came with the bike. I bought the bike in March 2011 new, its a 2010 yellow Gold Wing. I am a very big guy 6ft. 8" and 340 lbs. The tires I have are already worn out, the front tire cupped at around 6,000 miles and is getting worse the left side of the tire is bald and the right side still has some tread on it. The rear tire is still ok but I would like to replace them at the same time to get the same tread together. I ride everytday as much as I can. I would like to know more about how the cobra's handle and do they stick well. I love the bike and I would like to get more miles out of the tires, but I know i will have to quit spinning them as often as I do lol. Is this a good all around tire and will it last, with a bit of aggression put on them, lol. I do like to ride aggresively sometimes and the bike is really powerful, and I do abuse it a little. What is a good size to put on both front and rear for this kind of riding. |
