Lousy Cord Design

I've have two of these headsets and are satisfied with there overall performance EXCEPT for the 8-pin upper section cord that attaches to the headset. After a period of time the cords on both our helmets started separating below the reinforcement. I tried to strengthen them with stiff plastic strips and liquid rubber and probably got another years use out of them before one started shorting out. The replacements are about $25 for the cords which is pricey if you have to replace two of them every few years. These need to be redesigned.
