40 Channel Factory Honda GL1800 CB Radio Kit
ITEM CODE: PG00015

11.15.2011
If you have the 2012 GW, you must to buy this! Installing the FACTORY HONDA CB (not the aftermarket one) is much easier on the 2012 models! The seat does not have to be removed! The new bikes have the Audio Control Unit (ACU) mounted in the trunk well, above the location for the CB. The ACU does not have to be disconnected, just 4 mounting screws and the whole ACU lifts enough to locate the CB beneath it. The CB control cable plugs into the ACU and the CB power connector is in the well with the ACU. Plug 'N play! Instructions to remove the seat and the left hand armrest, Drill a hole, feed the antenna out the front of the trunk and back in to the trunk in the same hole the ACU harness enters the well. But if you route the antenna cable inside the front left corner of the trunk, the armrest, pocket, and the seat do not have to come off. Just drill the 3 holes to mount the antenna, install the ground strap for the antenna, and you are done. The CB kit does not have the RF chokes either; evidently the new models already have them installed.

Ergo II Highway Pegs for GL1800 Gold Wing
ITEM CODE: KU4056,   SKU: KU4056

11.01.2011
My height is 5-7 and my inseam is 30. If you are a Rider more or less like me, these are the “Highway Pegs” that you should buy. I think the others “Highway Pegs” are for people with longer legs. I installed these on my 2012 and have used it for a little over 300 miles. THE 3 GOOD: 1.- Are of excellent quality, solid and strong. 2.- Installation is extremely simple and takes less than 15 minutes. 3.- Are adjustable and provide a very comfortable riding position. For these, five stars. THE 2 BAD: 1.- Too expensive (like all Goldwing accessories). 2.- Too heavy (about 15 pounds) for a bike that is too heavy (about 933 pounds). Why? Consider this: If you put these “Highway Pegs” and a “Driver Backrest” for you, the “Transformers Passenger Boards with Pegs” and “Armrests” for your wife or co-rider, the CB Radio and Antenna, the Fog Lights, (to mention just some of the "essentials") plus a full tank of gasoline, you will have nearly 1,000 pounds on two wheels
