Ergo II Highway Pegs for GL1800 Gold Wing
ITEM CODE: KU4056,   SKU: KU4056

09.25.2011
Product is pretty nicely done but location makes the end result less than perfect. I am 6' 1" and ideally the seat would be farther back or up higher to stretch out a bit. I put on these pegs with idea that I could stretch my legs. The fairly is certainly in the way so you have kind of sharp end on you leg and thats even noticible with my pretty heavy duty riding pants I always wear.

Assembly was mostly straight forward but there are 4 pins to pound into one part that took be forever to get 3 of them in as no easy way to push/pound them in given how part is set up. One went flying and I never found it so I contacted Kuryakyn via email today to see if I can get some replacements, will see how that goes.

Clearance seems ok so far with them folded up. Certainly stick out some but cannot see them at all when riding and folded in.

This is probably best choice for highway pegs given the challenge of the 2012 fairing design but do not expect the traditional highway peg set up, location, or comfort.
