received this rack. it looks better in person. also took me about 40 mins to install. like many others i measured several times and then drilled. good point about this rack. it comes with rubber feet on the down post to be used during installation so you won't scratch the paint. i have a 08 pearl white wing. it looks great on the trunk. i also ordered and used the larger star washers for support and did not have to get longer screws. this rack installs thru the top of the trunk lid and not thru the inner liner as i have heard from other riders. enjoy
