Don
In October 2009 me and my wife rode from Richmond, Virginia to Los Angeles, CA on our '93 GL1500A. We had 88,800 when started. This was our longest trip attempted. The shocks were original and seemed to bottom out more and more the closer to California we got. By the time we arrived, my wife was begging for new shocks. So, I purchased a set of progressives. It took a couple of hours to install. Not difficult, just time consuming. On our first ride after installing the progressives, we were amazed at the difference. What a smooth ride. The bike was more stable than ever. I would recommend this conversion for any older bike. It is well worth the cost and time to install. Also, it was nice to deal with the owner of Wingstuff.com who provided great customer service. Thanks for improving my wife's ride, which we all know will improve my ride, lol.
