About:

lifetime rider. 1st bike was a Honda CL70 when I was 12 years old, a looonnnnggggg time ago. Have owned and ridden everything from Honda, to Yamaha, to Bugati, but never a Harley. Never felt the need for the bad boy image. I'm at the stage in my life where comfort, music, and ease of operation is of prime importance, thus the Wing. Tend to be a solitary rider since if I want to go North, I go North and don't have to get a concensous.

Triple Chrome Plated Adjustable Flip Up Armrests for GL1800
ITEM CODE: RIGL18094,   SKU: RIGL18094

08.16.2011
just finished installing the Rivco arm rests. It took exactly 25 minutes! At first I was worried with what seemed to be short and inadequate instructions (1 piece of paper), but it turned out that this install was so simple and easy that it was all you need. I especially liked the one piece rubber grommet/ expansion nuts that are used to hold the arms on the trunk box. A lot easier than trying to hold an arm rest, a bolt, washers, and nut then two wrenches to tighten them down with when you are doing the install by yourself like I did. All you need is to finger tighten and then snug them up with the supplied allen wrench. BE SURE THAT YOU LINE UP THE LOCATIONS FOR THE 4 HOLES YOU HAVE TO DRILL CORRECTLY! It is simple to do, just look at the color picture and follow the instructions and it is a piece of cake. It actually took me longer to put on the cup holder I bought for it (couldn't find a chromed bolt that looked good enough). The most important part of all this, my wife loves them and loves the way they were adjustable for height and swing UP and completely out of the way for getting on and off.
