Ordered this stand for new 07 Goldwing...will not allow the kick arm to rotate up into the left muffler recess like the stock unit...DOES NOT FIT!!! Having to now go thru the hassel of returning it for a credit due to poor product manufacture. The finish was excellent, but if it won't fit...can't use it! |

I rarely have a problem with parts....I installed this unit, instead of the Honda antenna because it is supposed to be "Better" than the Honda stock unit. After installation, the cylinder of the antenna base where it goes into the chrome bolted base is?was loose and rotated around and around...it also had a vertical "Play" in the unit of 3/4...in a few words it is loose. Furthermore, the Kuryaykn flagpole would not fit over the antenna like it does the stock unit. Therefore, it is oversized when compared to the stock unit. I have two flagpoles, and could not install the Kury without drilling out the mounting cylinder..which I refused to do. The manufacturer was nice on the phone...June, and said they made over 6000 of these units with only 5 or 6 problems....well I got number 7. Am ordering the stock Honda unit forthwith. |

Installed the new lights..have 06 Airbag Goldwing....the wiring harness supplied would NOT work with this unit as I received it. Looking at the spec. sheet, it says Part Number 7300 is required. Looking it over on this site, there is no way it will be a plug and play with with the ends coming from my reflector lights. I am real disappointed it does not have the correct female plugs required to do the job the first time. |
