About:

Bought my first touring bike (2007 Honda Goldwing GL1800) in July 2008. Absolutely love this bike and the way it rides/handles compared to anything else I have ever ridden. Rode it all the way around the country in the Summer of 2009 to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. As of March 2017, selling my Gold Wing as I have recently purchased a 2017 BMW R1200 GS Adventure. I really want to be able to ride into the Rocky Mountains as well.

Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PRRBBB,   SKU: PRRBBB

08.05.2010
I purchased these a while back and after having them installed, I'm not very impressed with them and especially after having to drill holes in my trunk for something that doesn't hold up very well.

There is another system out there that I have seem at a local Goldwing Rally for about $50.00 that appeared to do a much better job than these trunk bumpers. One of my bumpers already ripped off and I'm not completely convinced these are doing the trick.

Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers for GL1800

I purchased these a couple months ago and the install was fairly easy but for the extra money there is a better system out there that installs in your trunk.

The rubber on this current system tends to get pushed over and not stay straight up. This is with no load on the trunk rack either. Just everyday open and closing of the trunk.

I forgot the name of this other trunk system but a vendor attended a Goldwing rally and did the install for about $50.00 and no holes where drilled on top the the trunk exterior to do this. I guess the Baby Buggy system is cheaper but how many times will you have to replace them before they wear out?
