Passenger Armrests for GL1800
ITEM CODE: BB52677A,   SKU: BB52677A

Actually bought and installed these last summer. Thought I had submitted my review but it appears that I hadn't so here it is. Would have given it 5 stars, but was kind of a pain to install and the washer and pivot system could designed a bit better. Anyway, the product is solid! I didn't like the trunk mounted styles because the wife is short and tends to use the arm rests to help her get on the bike, and I saw many broken trunks in my future. Again these are very solid and secure.

Utopia Driver Backrest for GL1800 2001-2017
ITEM CODE: UT18MC12,   SKU: UT18MC12

Great product!! Matches the bike very well and is very comfortable with basically unlimited "fine" adjustments. Other back rests typically offer a few pre-set adustment locations. It is also easily removable if needed. I bought this and took a while to install due to the fear of cutting the seat. Though it takes a little work and thought it was not difficult. Just don't get ahead of yourself. Looked at Saunders' video, then got some great tips from Lt. Dan (on this site). Only problem I had was getting a long enough serrated knife, and removing the seat (nothing in the manual on this surprisingly). Other than that it wasn't hard at all. All that stress over nothing! I figured I saved paying someone 2.5-4 hours labor, and not to toot my own horn but the job looks like a factory install. Don't think the people I would have paid could have done any better. But that's the kind of guy I am, somewhat of a perfectionist. In closing, I have two things to say. I would definately buy and suggest this product to anyone, and in regards to the install PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE.

Mike
