Black Ride Off Center Stand for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CJ1800BL,   SKU: CJ1800BL

I wouldn't say this was easy to install, and I'm pretty handy. The bolts are very tight and difficult to get to while the bike is on the side stand. I had to use a mallet to hit my wrench because I couldn't get any leverage. I also had to use a jack stand to lean the bike over to the other side and rest on the saddlebag protective bar.(don't recommend doing this, a little risky)I do recommend breaking the seal on both bolts while the bike is on the OEM center stand(bolts are very long threaded, no risk here), then putting it down to the side stand and removing it. I mared my spring and may have bent it a little. Follow the advice on the sheet and use a brake spring tool or nice spring hook here. The bike wobles now. A little scary. Leave it in reverse to reduce rolloff danger. Mounting from RT side is more stable because of the pedal arm. I was able to use the reverse to stand the bike after a few tries, still need more practice with passanger(nervous about this). Ok why did I give it four stars? I like it better than the OEM. I never had trouble getting my bike on the OEM but it was hard this is a breeze with or without the reverse method. Once it's up put it in reverse and additionally, place your suspension preload on 1 for extra stability as 1 makes the rear wheel a little lighter. When you are ready to leave reset suspenson to your favorite setting. Also suspension of 20 makes putting the bike on the stand even easier, just wouldn't recommend leaving it on 20.

Kuryakyn Passenger Transformer Floorboards for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7006,   SKU: KU7006

I'm giving these 5 stars for my wife. She loves them, a lot! I think they are nice and chromed out, but they are 10 times heavier than the stock ones. I feel that bikes should focus on light parts. I think K made them heavy to give the impression of quality. Quality these days is light! Another problem I had was, the Rt one the ball and spring went into the hinge too deep and would not hold the board up. I had to remove it and add a small washer under the spring, now it's fine.
