Tie Down Brackets
ITEM CODE: CI98000,   SKU: CI98000

Although I never plan on trailering my bike anywhere on purpose, I wanted to install these in case either I or a tow company had to trailer the bike due to a breakdown. I was looking forward to an easy installation as per the videos but in my case it didn't go smoothly. I could tell the main bolt was under tension as it was difficult to remove from the frame and sure enough when the bolt came out the cross member the bolt was holding sprang 3/4 of an inch to the side making lining the bolt holes back up for installation very difficult. I don't know what caused this as I haven't heard others have this problem but it was the case on the left side of my particular bike. After using two people to push the crossmember to get the bolt holes to line up to install the brackets I had to completely remove both Factory fog lights in order to install the smaller side Bolt. Final installation looked beautiful and solid and gives me peace of mind
