Amazing versatility
| I say "Amazing versatility" because they do two things very well: First they direct some serious air to the hips, upper legs, and tummy and chest area. Second they do an admirable job of keeping cold air off the hands and sides of abdomen. Two things I'd like to add: I bought a set of OEM Honda upper air deflectors, and after a short test ride, took them off and am preparing to sell them. They do one thing well: keep the hands warm. The OEM's didn't impress me at all when trying to get some cooling air on me. And second, when these wings are fully closed against their built in stop, they do a very good job at eliminating the vacuum around my body that sucks in air from behind me. I just about goes away once they reach their full open position. Way to go, designers !!! |

Beware when removing Tupperware
| No problems with installation thanks to watching a video rather than trusting the lame instructions. However, beware when removing the larger of the two plastic engine covers on each side of the 2018 gold wing. Plastic tabs can and will break off if you don't know where they are and how to jiggle them loose. |
