failure to preform

After purchasing both the saddle bag and trunk molding light sets I am told that there is no more support from the manufacture for the gen 1 bikes. I received both sets but there is not the wiring installation kit for the saddle bag lights. Instead they sent two sets of wiring kits for the trunk lights and then told me that they no longer support the "older" bikes.... I don't understand why they would not have mentioned that before hand. Am I to assume that about everything else they manufacture for the "older" bikes?
