Rear Spring

i am riding a 2016 40th anniversary model....my rear spring was getting soft and also the rear cannot be raised as high as before. My mechanic recommended me to change to progressive spring and also change the preload line (original from factory is rubber, overtime, air get in) to steel. After change to progressive spring and steel preload line, i can raised the rear as well as before and it is much comfortable to absorb humps on the road.
