Ergo II Highway Pegs for GL1800 Gold Wing
ITEM CODE: KU4056, SKU: KU4056

Good Pegs
I'm critical, but I like these pegs. I read all the reviews about how they could scrape the pavement and possibly wreck you. If you are a knee dragger maybe, but this old man has never been close to scraping them. They look good, are will made and adjustable. They work fine with my 29" inseam. |

Centering
I installed mine yesterday. The directions state to center the rack and drill four holes for the feet. No template. Measured what I could, mostly "eye balled" the placement. They seem will made and look good on my 2016 black Gold Wing GL. I also bought the 1.25 inch washers with rubber backing to place under the lid to hopefully stop cracking. I like it. |

Everybody has them
I bought these because they are so popular, they must be good. ONE BIG problem, they come with stickers on them stating not to use when boarding or exiting the motorcycle. They will crack your trunk. They are bolted to nothing but plastic! I installed mine with no problems, but it was nerve racking drilling eight holes in the trunk. Wife and I just rode from Austin TX to east coast with no problems however. I had to keep reminding my wife not to use them as a hand rail. If I had it to do over I would buy the ones that bolt to the existing passenger hand rail, no drilling and very strong. |
