About:
Rider for 50 years, touring for 35+ years. I have had all kinds of bikes from a 1951 Harley Hydraglide and numerous Suzuki GS series to my latest, a 2018 Goldwing and a 1982 Suzuki GS650G. I have taken many motorcycle trips through the years, all across the country. During this time I have used a wide variety of jackets boots rain suits helmets and other accessories including duct tape and paper clips! I have learned that electrical tape can be a wonderful repair item to carry with you as you travel the country as well as a credit card with a good balance, a good set of maps, and a good riding buddy.

“The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect.” - Neil Peart
When our lives are over, people are unlikely to remember:
* how much money we made,
* how prestigious our careers were,
* or how many possessions we owned.
Instead, they’ll remember:
* whether we loved well,
* whether we treated others with dignity,
* whether we earned their respect,
* and whether we helped make their lives better.

Excellent Instructional Video series

I can honestly say with no reservation that Fred’s instructional video series on the 2018+ Goldwing has been invaluable resource for me as I explore the maintenance and servicing of my new bike. Understand that this is not a cleanly produced series, but rather a “hands-on “set which is intended to inform the user about all the facets of performing your own maintenance on the bike. Fred’s presentation is clear and thorough. There are 40+ topics covered and more added as he goes through his bike. The videos paid for themselves in the first two minutes when I understood how some of the fasteners and clips work on the bike. The fact that the video series is available for streaming and are also downloadable makes them a wonderful resource which II will carry with me when I ride. Good job Fred! |
