Lower Cowl Mounted LED Driving Lights for F6B, GL1800
ITEM CODE: RIGL18006L2,   SKU: RIGL18006L2

I have already left a previous review with a poor score on this product, but here's an update. The lights were dimming and flashing as my previous review stated; however, RIVCO agreed to replace them under warranty. I shipped them the lights back and they sent me another set; however, because of the trouble I had the first time with the rubber and the general fit, I decided to find crash cage clamps and mount them to those instead since they sell the same lights for the same application.Lights were installed, I've had them on there about 6 months and guess what? 2 of the 4 LED's in the right light are now burned out, the 3rd is dim, and only the 4th is still bright.Never ever ever ever buy these lights. They are totally worthless. A friend of mine has a Kawasaki adventure bike with lights mounted really high. He take the bike through deep water, etc. They've been fine for 4 years. I can't even get 6 months out of these lights. TotalWasteof Money.

XP Rear Brake Modulator
ITEM CODE: PU20500030,   SKU: PU20500030

I installed this piece of hardware and while it didn't tax my skills, I had to get a bit creative with the wiring and tucking everything away. I chose not to drill any holes, I used sticky tape. Also, I mounted it under the trunk, right side covered by the right piece that pops off. Works great.

I've had it in for over a year now and I've had no troubles. I also added the LED tail lights for some added pop. You can REALLY see the difference when both of these are in play. My cop-neighbor said that over 70% of accidents are caused by getting rear ended... these simulate light movement and really get your attention.

-----video link below-----

Also also spent a bunch of extra time soldering wires and wrapping/heat shrinking connections as I didn't want to come back to it in a year. Also, I ride rain or shine, hot or cold. 12k miles in 1 year.

I FULLY endorse this product and if I could remember the specifics of the install, I'd talk about it. Hmmm... .I wonder if I could put another one on the lowers.... lol

Lower Cowl Mounted LED Driving Lights for F6B, GL1800

The rubber backer for the lights were missmatched, I had two of the same side. They sent me another one no prob, but then I noticed that the lights would alternately dim and brighten... just enough to really notice. Now, maybe 5 months after putting them in, the right one has quit completely. I've check and I'm getting 12 volts to the light, but no light. I will call them and see if they will replace the light... but I'm not going to hold my breath.

The lights look solid enough, the instructions were ok after I read through them a couple times. The zip lock back melted to the blister pack when they heated everything to shrink wrap it. This means that when I pulled out the zip lock, it was torn and parts went everywhere.

The lights were mistmatched. It seems like I had 2 right lights. The rubber covers are trapezoids, or paralellagrams thus they are leaning one direction. They should be leaning opposite to the other; however, they were identical. Also, the left rubber cover was glued poorly. Since it was loose anyway, I pulled it off and flipped it and it orients correctly, but it's wavey and doesn't look great. Oriented the way they sent it, there was a gap on the lower right side.

I've contacted Rivco to see what they have to say about it.

The lights are VERY bright. That part I'm impressed with. VERY VERY Bright.
