About:
Have been with fire department for 30 years and loved every minute of it. Started riding 4 years ago on a 2003 V-Star 1100. My wife joined me in taking riders safety class and loved it so much she wanted her own. She has been riding 2004 V-Star 650. Just got first Goldwing and literally love it. We love the great outdoors, especilly love traveling in Colorado.

Got the directions and pole tabs with mine. Maybe someone actually reads these reviews. Pretty straight forward install. Be sure and get the star washers to help distribute the weight. I put two flag antannae on mine to fly the colors. I also prefer the more traditonal look of this rack versus the flat racks. |

Easy, simple, plug & play install. I also have problem with engine noise with Sirius radio. Going to try a filter. |

Nice product that is not too difficult to change out with the visor (no tools required). I ordered the light smoke, but package just says smoke. May be a little dark at night. Do not plan on using mine all the time, mainly when its real cold or rainy. |

Looks great and really adds to the overall look. I too added the fog lights and chrome timing cover at the same time. Had a little trouble in lining the bolt holes back up, but attributed most of it to the size of the product and trying to work around the front wheel. An extra set of hands would be nice. I also used my motorcycle jack to pick the front of my bike up. That made it a little easier on an old fat man. |

I did not install this product on my bike as it was delayed for shipment and I had to purchase a hitch locally and ended up with a Kuryakyn. What I did find out in the process however was that you do not need to buy the receiver that they list at the bottom. There is a chrome one included with the hitch along with the 1 7/8" ball. I was led to believe that you needed to order it seperately which is false. |

I have read some of the negative reviews and have not experienced the the same problems. I wear a size 12 and my feet seem to fit fine. There was some getting use to when coming from my V-Star, but I found that to be true for about everything on the Goldwing. After logging some 2500 miles on the wing, the V-Star is the one that does not seem to fit right anymore. I love the look and having a heel-tow shifter. Install was easy. Used blue lock-tite on bolts. I believe this was suggested in install instructions and a very good idea. |

Good looking and nice accent to bike especially along with drivers and passenger floorboards to match. I am 6'3" tall and tried numerous different positions for comfort. Never could find one that would let me kick back and stretch my legs out like I did on my cruiser. Had some problem with my legs rubbing on cowling. After finally settling on position that best suited me and getting used to them, I am really glad that they are on my bike. Went on 600 mile ride this weekend and did not have any problem with leg fatigue. Little rubber stopper that covers adjustment bolt keeps falling off both sides when I wipe bake down after washing. Figure it is only a matter of time before they completly disappear. Shouldn't matter though as they are on the inside and really don't even show. |

Great product. They not only look good, but my wife loves being able to change her leg positions during long rides. Kuryakyn included extra rubber pieces and glue with mine (if I will only be able to remember where I put them when I need them). Still have to rob the spring and ball bearing from stock floor boards, but that was no big deal to me. I did install with blue lock-tite on bolts. Boards seem to stay folded up just fine. I also put on Kuryakyn drivers floor boards and floorboard style up front instead of just pegs. To me, the 3 together look awesome |

Put them on myself. A little bit more trickier install than some items, but if you take your time and follow instructions it's not that difficult. My wife loves them and wouldn't want to ride without them. Do take care not to loose the koozie for the drink holder as a smaller water bottle will slide out without it. Have looked at some other brands installed on other bikes and think these are the best and best looking that I've seen. |

Made the dealer put it on before I would take bike home. Did notice at first that I seemed to lean forward somewhat. I figured that was as much to do as coming from a cruiser to a wing. Have since put 2500 miles on and wouldn't want to ride without it. If it did lean back more I think I would be in my wife's lap. Only negatives is it does confine my wife's legs somwhat and rubs on seat when tilted forward, but does not seem to hurt anything. Still highly recommend it. |
