About:
This is my second GL. My first was an 1986 1200 I had for 15 years.
I thought this 1800 would be my last one until my wife decided she wanted her own. So now I own 2 2005's, one is a Champion trike.

Don't buy
These are the first designed for motorcycling boots I've ever had in 40 years of riding, I've always had hiking boots. But I thought maybe these offer something I'm missing. When I got these (internet order) I was surprised by the shallow tread depth. And that has proved to be the reason I say don't buy these boots. I bought them about 7 months ago and the tread is worn off under the ball of the feet. I have ridden very little, maybe two days a week to work where I'm in an office environment on carpet. I don't drag my feet approaching or pulling out from a stop so I can only conclude the soles are of an extremely soft compound that wears out much too fast. I can't afford to buy two sets of boots a year. I thought about replacing the soles, but have decided to go back to a comfortable hiking boot that will provide some lasting service. |

These are really fun to wear during Christmas time! I was out with a group of friends who all had these hats last year and we had people in cars honking and waving at us and some even rolled down windows at traffic lights to tell how great they looked. |

I've heard riders say this is an old mans accessory. But I commute to work while it's usually dark, and the freeeways into the LA area are full of a lot of sleepy/cell phone impaired drivers. These lights really get a lot of looks, and being seen is critical on a bike. Plus I like the way they look. |

Honda should install these at the factory. The bike looks naked without them. |

Looks nice, fits nice. I'd like to be able to tilt it back to change the angle a bit. I feel too pushed forward. Lucky for me it's on my wifes bike. |

Honda should have made these original equipment. They totaly finish the look of the bike, if you are an anti-chromer you won't want them, but anyone else should take a serious look at them. |

A great addition, very bright. Tie them into your turn signals and you really have an attention getter. |

With the blade extended your foot has too much leverage and can easily rotate the peg out of position. I vote no. |

Probably the single best piece of chrome you can add to your bike. Easy to install too. |
