Very happy. 60 miles without a backrest and my back was killing me, 250 miles with the backrest and still going strong. I am sure the first long trip will be fine. I had a bar style on my last 'Wing and it was always rubbing my SO's legs the wrong way. Had this one on my Valk and loved it. I must admit it was hard to do the seat cut. After that it was an easy install. The rest flops around unless you snug the pivot bolts. The only thing I would change is a rounded top, more like the passenger rest. |

Even with the poor pictures, it was easy enough to figure out. Not rocket science. '06 is a tight fit, but it does fit. Best to have a helping hand. I had to tap the holes, they were full of paint, no problem. Seems to be solid enough, time will tell. You do need to lay on the ground to install and remove reciever but that's what you get for having a HIDDEN hitch, deal with it. Over all, I am happy. |
