The quality of the hitch is outstanding, but there are 2 issues. One, be prepared to change the rear tire by either a) laying the bike on the right side or b) jacking up with a motorcycle lift. You cannot change the rear tire by removing the rear panel between the saddlebags. Second the hitch insert "dampners" will wear down quickly, leaving the hitch insert somewhat loose. As I have a rack (rather than a trailer), this was annoying because of the significant "rattle" while riding. I replaced the allen inserts with 1/4" stainless bolts (and slightly drilled the hitch insert to create a set for the bolt) which allowed me to tighten down - thus allowing the rack not to rattle as much.
