Bought these after a recommendation that they would help avoid cramping in my right hand. The installation took about 20 minutes on the right side (first side) and then 10 on the left. Used a piece of insulated wire to help 'snap' the halves together and it was done. Go slow and follow the directions and it will be an easy install. Went for a ride (no gloves) to see how the heated grips worked and within 2 miles I could feel the heat coming through. So far another great purchase! |

Really like the look and feel of these. They are easy to go on but a bit of work to close up. Fit on my 2005 with the heated grips. |

WOW, what a relief. No more shaking the hands to wake them up with the small stock grips. It took me about 5 minutes to install both over the grips but a bit longer to get them to snap together. I used a towel and 440 channel lock pliers to ease them together. I turned on the heat to level 5 and yes it is diminished but I always wear full gloves when I ride. Let's see if the Kuryakyn chrome holds up! |

Put mine on over the heated grips. If you live up north and ride in cold weather alot, keep the stock grips. I was riding in over 100 degree weather for about 300 miles that day and the heated grips were on and i couldn't even feel it. I would rather have the grip than the heat. They do almost totally eliminate any heat from the grips. |

After 15 minutes of riding the Wing with the stock heated grips, my right hand would be in pain & start to swell up between the thumb & forefinger. My Summer leather gloves are quite slippery & I had to constantly squeeze the grip to maintain control of the throttle. Easily installed these grips over the Honda grips using windex & a spare piece of telephone cable (didn't have a dog leash)to snap the clips in place on the top & bottom of the grip halves (kept it on the chrome parts). Crossed the cable at the top, pulled until the tops snaps engaged, then rotated the cable 180 degrees to get the bottom clips - so easy! BTW, I used a small plastic tire lever (for changing tires on a bicycle) to gently push the rubber nubs in place before closing up the two halves. Worked well & didn't harm the rubber bits. After a six hour ride, both hands were happy & relaxed. Swelling has gone down in my right hand & I am finally enjoying the Wing. If you have big hands, this purchase is no-brainer! (I say big hands, because these grips are bit larger in diameter than the normal ISO grips) A great product from a great retailer. Thank you Wingstuff! |

Well at first I was a little hesitant to buy them because of some of the horror stories, bought them any way, upon arrival glanced at the instructions first side throttle side took me 30 min clutch side 15 with a little common sense, and some of the other reviews they were a snap to install and they look and feel great! An easy 5 |

Best accessory i installed yet. I used a clamp that you pump with a trigger to hold and clamp the 2 sides together, very easy using that method. |

The install was a bit if a challenge but with a little patience it can be done. They feel and look great but yes, it does take time for them to warm up. |

I love Kuryakyn products and had these grips on my previous bike (non-heated version). I can tell you I love the big cushion grips and they are much better than stock. Problems I have is it takes a LONG time for the heat to transmit where it's needed. On the install, I actually cracked the plastic grip trying to tighten it - if you get them do not tighten too hard. I give it a solid 3 out of 5. |

Install was ok. they take a little longer to warm up with the heated grips. Nice to have a larger grip then the stock grip. |

This is a warning NOT to attempt to fit these grips to GL1800 NON-heated grips. I was advised by a WingStuff salesperson that they would fit and I would not have to cut off the old grips. In fact they do NOT fit over the non-heated Honda grips, which have a larger diameter than the heated grips. Any attempt to fit these to a non-heated-grip bike will break the metal portions of the Kuryakyn grip. |
