Nice to find quality parts for the old wing
Impressed with the clarity. Nice fitting and nice finish. Great wind protection. Really like the tint.
This was simply easy to install. It looks great and quality workmanship.
My OEM speakers gave out some years ago. Being that J&M is the intercom system thought these would be great. Put them in and never got a peep out of them. Just left them for a years. Finally bought OEM’s from here and replaced them, just like new. Thats when I noticed that the J&M’s didn’t even have a magnet. They are CRAP!!
I recently put a set of the Michelins on my '13 Wing for my annual "Out West" trip. The good part first. Yes, it appears the rear will outlast the Bridgestones I've used for decades. Don't know about the front because I'm taking it off in a few days. Handling is a little sharper than the B/Stones on curve turn in. Wet and dry road stopping road performance is very good. Now, the deal breaker. These tires have about 5600 miles on them. The front tire is slightly cupped on the sides, and it howls at the slightest change in direction. Even a lane change gives a howling confirmation. It's noisy even riding straight with a growling rumble noise. I'm ordering a B/stone for the front and changing it very soon. I'm hopeful about the rear Michelin and hope to report on it when it's worn out. Perhaps I'll be running a mix of brands in the future. I've tried about everything available and keep coming back to the B/stones.
While it might be the only one available, it isn't well designed for passenger use. When mounted per the instructions, it interfered with the passenger's leg position both while getting on the bike and while riding. I found an alternative method. Way overpriced.
Easy mod to make it classy.
Heli Bar risers are definitely better than stock. Should have went with the Heli Bar handle bars. Will do that next.5123523
Two major problems with these. One is that they are too short. The plastic braces that go on the rim have to be removed. The second problem is that there is not enough thread to install the FOBO locking nut and the TPMS unit. I will look for another brand of these because it is a great idea.
I ordered these for my '19 DCT. No instructions, you have to download them from a QR code and they're not too specific. I You Tubed videos and got better instructions however I chose to place mine above the crease in the saddle bags to make them more prominent. That's the nice thing, they look great but you have flexibility in where you mount them.
Takes the strain off shoulders and lower back. Reduces your reach to handlebar and gives you a more relaxed riding position.
I was debating installing these for a while but didn't necessarily see the value. I was wrong. They definitely provide a wider field of view, which is what I was looking for. I've had several close calls over the years with vehicles sneaking into my blind spot, and these mirrors significantly reduce that. Installation was super easy; it took me 4 minutes- yes, I timed it.
