Installation was straightforward. All the parts were included in the package and the installation was painless on my 2014 GL 1800. It works well at highway speeds and doesn't open up from wind pressure. I'm very satisfied. |
Several comments came up about the angle or direction of the pull of the included bungee hooks that make this a less desirable luggage. But I just ran a strap front to back thru the luggage rack and a couple of sided to side bungees and its solid. The overall shape fits the trunk rack well so adding bungees is a simple solution to an otherwise unstable attachment. |
To me this is a must have item. It protects some vital parts and really should be included on every Goldwing. Very good quality and super easy to install. |
I love this addition to my wing and the added safety it brings. Anything you can do to increase visibility is well worth the price. Super easy installation and no special wiring required. |
I have owned 2 Goldwings and one of the best accessories I have added were a set of HeliBars. The comfort they afford me is well worth the price and time they take to install. My neck and shoulders pain are non existent after the install. |
I have owned 2 Goldwings and installed a Utopia backrest on them both. To me this is a “must have” addition to any bike. Could not recommend this product more. |
I'm one of those who change the oil, and filter, every 3 months and I'm aware that that oil-change interval is short. Still, keeps my Wing smooth and clean, and I attribute the excellent (Honda) oil and filter as great insurance. However, (and here goes), my inspection of the Oil Filter that I recently received from Wingstuff also shows "Made in China." Odd. I'd think Honda would have a "Made in Japan" label on any of their filters. Maybe I received one of those Chinese "knock-offs." Hopefully, not ! |

"Hi Larry, thanks for your review and for shopping with WingStuff! We receive all of our Honda products directly from Honda so you can rest assured they are genuine OEM parts!"
The Pathfinder LED headlights are bright white. I thought the stock headlights were good until I replaced one side and compared them. Wish I could upload the photo! |
I used this to connect Pathfinder Lighted Spoiler w/Dynamic Sequential LED. It’s pretty crowded under the seat, connecting and fishing I through into the right position was challenging. It was just right. |
Never thought about adding a belly pan before on my previous Gold Wings, but with the 18+ frame design and reduced ground clearance, engine protection is required: for those curbs, speed bumps, and road debris you will encounter. Unlike other reviews, I found it easy to install and remove for oil change. Unlike other competing products: that bolt to the bottom motor case, I think the unit mounted to the frame offers a greater protection by featuring an extended crush zone, that has been designed into our automobiles for the last 50 yrs. Buy it, you’ll like it. |
Nothing sets off the black panels, front and back, than chrome. The license light lid chrome is easy to mount with 3M tape, clean first then press on and admire the look. |
No brainer for $3 bucks and easy 3 minute install, no more miss placed gas cap. It tethers the cap to filler cover. I was going to make my own but for the price and convenience this is all ready to go and it works. |
