The unit works as designed. Perfect for what I need and designed to plug and play with the wings great design.
These work really good and are super adjustable. Just make sure you tighten the center pivot bendix, mine came loose from the factory and first ride out needed to tighten it up. No big deal, everyone should be carrying a set of metric Allen wrenches with them anyway just in case stuff gets loose. Ride safe
Adds a bit more class to my 2016 goldwing trike, and they work very well keeping the wind off especially while my feet are on my highway boards. Love them.
Perfect fitment and install was a breeze. Ideally you'd install these at tire change time, although r/r the wheels on a 18+ is so easy don't let that deter you from installing them anyway even if you're not due for tires- only took maybe 45min start to finish. If you have a non-Tour, do yourself a favor and get a centerstand- all you need to remove both wheels is a normal floor jack put under the front edge of the oil pan to lift the front wheel also. The description that the bike feels like it's on a cloud might sound a little cliche, but it really is what comes to mind. Despite the smoothness, it also feels more planted and sure-footed on the road. Kind of hard to describe, but it's very confidence inspiring. I did not notice any adverse behavior at low speeds (below ~20mph when these become active), and ran them clear up to the 115mph governor and smooth as glass at any speed- this was on OE Bridgestone tires with about 8k on them. Being 20-25% longer tire life seems to be a very realistic expectation- and a set of GL tires usually runs around $400- these could potentially pay for themselves in just a couple sets of tires.
I have ordered tires previously from other vendors and the tires were shipped without any packaging. However, WingStuff puts them in a box which protects them during shipment. I also like that I can order a set instead of choosing individual tires.
You really could not beat the price for these tires anywhere. I got 15k miles out of my first set riding in-town, very little highway. they are in my opinion a great tire.
The bike really needed something to break up all the black at the rear and this simple cover did the trick. The cover is simple to install and fits perfectly. I plan on buying several more small chrome pieces manufactured by Goldstrike.
I'm trying dyna beads for the first time; I have them in the rear tires of my california sidecar goldwing trike. I had the rear tires balanced and also added the beads; I do believe I'm getting a smoother ride with the addition of the beads. Have an appointment to have the centramatic balancers installed soon....will get a better feel then.
Super easy to install. Less than 15 minutes. Super comfortable. You can scrape when aggressive though but the footrests will flip up so it is not a safety hazard. The other option is to flip up the highway pegs and use the regular foot rests when hitting really tight curves. I simple love them. On the DCT you can leave your feet on them even around the city because there is no need to shift and your hand break breaks the rear as well.
Great addition for the bike. Should be original equipment in my opinion. Protects the oil filter, coolant reservoir etc... Gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the slots were a little off. I could only get one side on at a time. I ended up removing part of the slot closure so that I could slide it up into place rather than having to go over the end of the studs. Will make removal and reinstallation easier if needed. I would recommend the product. I like that I can easily remove the front part for oil changes.
This is my 3rd set of these. What more do I need to say
I bought 2 short sleeve shirts. 1 for myself and 1 for my man. Both shirts washed & fit great. Plus was a great price! We will be wearing them on our next ride.
