| cheap plastic in hi gloss. The OEM parts look a LOT better. These are supposed to be scuff protectors for boots. Why make them in hi gloss?? So they scuff easier??They also don't fit correctly. They leave a wide crack at the bottom since they don't follow the frame curve correctly. Just cheap junk.These things should be made out of stainless steel (for the price!) which would actually be scuff resistent... |
| I bought this instead of the Honda line bags. These are good bags for the price and do exactly what’s needed for easily loading and unloading things from the bike. |
| Bought this and installed on 2021 Goldwing Tour DCT. Works great, easy to install (20 min) and really helps with visibility from the rear of the bike. A little pricey but worth it. |
| Although I have not tested the Foot Wings in the rain the cold weather protection is quite noticeable so much so that I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep them on in the hotter weather.The installation is easy but please do not follow the Baker Built instructions (i.e. bend the heat shield with a large screwdriver). Furthermore the black and white instructions are not legible and or intuitive and on a simple installation are quite useless. Baker Built should also include a L & R sticker on each of the foot wings to make the installation a bit more easier. Back to the installation take the extra 2 minutes loosen the heat shield band clamps (just a little NOT all the way), install the Foot Wings as described in the directions, retighten the band clamps DONE. There is no chance of scratching your chrome or black chrome pipes when the aforementioned procedure is used although the thumb screws do mark up the heat shields. Cannot believe Baker Built even included the instructions to bend the heat shields to install the Foot Wings. I take pride in my bike and my ability as a DIY and would never bend ANY part on my bike to install an aftermarket part.Until I researched the job a bit more I was ready to send the parts back. |
| Shopped around came down to Dunlop and these Bridgestones well Dunlop way expensive when said and done and these bridgestones were sold as a set front and rear great price never had Bridgestone on any of my bikes always been Dunlop’s . Have bridgestones on my truck so let’s try on the bike gl1800dct touring well ordered quick shipment got them mounted and balanced and after what seemed to be about 50 miles breakin I am pleasantly impressed with them only reason for the “4 star” rating is for longevity wear let’s see what I get from them but ya overall great purchase will recommend to folks ! |
| Installation was easy. Now when I have a bag just a little too big for the trunk, I can strap it onto the hitch rack instead of pulling the trailer. It's also a great addition for the beverage cooler for those shorter 2-3 day trips. |
| These are quality mats but sadly, the notation about “designed to be used with New Honda CD Changer Kit” needs to be in big, bold letters. The trunk mats don’t fit a bike without the cd changer option, as the trunk bottom and cover are different. I can’t even find them in the parts fiche except on 2012-2017 models. I’d love to have these for my non-cd 2008 Wing. I’m keeping them because of the quality but disappointed with the ad. |
| I got the plus 2 with the vent and tinted. The windshield did help with highway buffeting and took minor wind of the shoulders. Some of the problems iv notice already. Is cuz it’s a hard coat and tinted it seems to attract dirt and dust a lot more,constantly wiping it every 2 days. I was hoping this windshield to be stiffer then stock but it is not. It still bends at highway speed making the 4th position like the 3rd. The install was easy. You will require some goo be gone for the old tape and old adhesive. It also states in the box that you have 10 Velcro strips. It only had 8 so I had to cut 2 in half to make up the missing 2. As a side not: I order quite a few things. And this was delivered 2 days after my order was scheduled to deliver separately from my bulk order. So know that |
| I just put on my second set of these cheap, but comfortable grips. I finally wore through my first set in a couple of spots. I bought the first set in 2009, and used them for 100,xxx miles. The heated grips will heat through these, and as said, they are comfortable. |
