I've sold a crap-ton (is that even a word?) of bike tires as a motorcycle service writer. While I won't mention some of the tire brands I've been "encouraged" to sell (and I've never sold anything that I wouldn't ride myself) there are OK tires and there are better tires. And like the howling oil debates that rage on about what is best LOL ;-), A similar debate is always ongoing when it comes to tires. And to a certain extent, tires do have an element of personal taste when it comes to how they ride. But there are some tires that I've ridden over the years that provide a solid quality that meet my standards for ride and safety. The Bridgestone Exedra line is among those products. They handle well in all sorts of weather, are a great value for the price, and I've never heard folks complain about a set they've run on a Goldwing. The convenience of these combo deals Wingstuff offers (along with rebate offers that are super easy to access) makes this a "no brainer" for those of us who love convenient purchases. You can't go wrong rolling with this excellent tire combo.
This is a spicy purchase ($$$), but for my money, I'd rather put up the cash for a product that lives up to high standards than save money to regret it. I've been riding for longer than I care to admit. I've been a service writer for the industry and taken many a marathon bike trip of thousands of miles. Taking a Honda CB350 from Pennsylvania to the Florida keys and back with homemade luggage (I don't recommend it) is a far cry from today when I find myself on the latest Goldwing with a luggage rack rigged with the Route 1 Traveler Tour Trunk Bag. The bag is well appointed and was clearly well conceived prior to execution. The solid framing allows it to sit confidently (good fit) on the luggage rack and is easily secured with straps that are logically placed. Rather than reiterate features listed in the description I can only say that it completes an excellent system for expanding luggage capability of the 2018+ Goldwing bikes. One word of caution - it is so well designed, it begs to be overloaded - as does some other systems engineered to fully occupy the Goldwing luggage rack. And while there are warnings aplenty from Honda, luggage rack and bag manufactures, it it worth underlining that overloading storage space with a high center of gravity can be a bad idea. But as my title asks "Get What You Pay For?" in this case - yes. I'd have to recommend the Route 1 TTTB. My only suggestion? A system to quickly lock/unlock the bag to the rack - something I easily improvised due to its rigid construction. Thumbs up on this one
Just in time for summer with the cool mesh in the back. Great looking hat to go with the new wing.
We ordered two belly pans for our two 2021 Honda Goldwings. They arrived promptly however one was missing an important bit - the bolt, washers, and nut to hold the pan on. A phone call to Wingstuff explaining the error was met with a promise to send the missing items. That was Monday; the package arrived Wednesday. Could not ask for better service than that. And.... we are happy with the belly pans. My mechanic/husband had no difficulties installing them and we are confident that they will provide the protection needed to avoid costly repairs to the Goldwing motors when we roll out for our summer motorcycle camping adventures.
This came in a sealed package. It good to have fresh OEM parts to complete my oil change
It's nice to have a bag of 10 washers for oil changes. I used 1 and put the rest in my tool box
I am 6'4" and the OEM windshield on my 2022 GL1800B was far too short. I decided to purchase this in the tinted version (20.25",). Ordered it on Monday, received it on Wednesday in proper packaging, full protected with plastic on the shield and wrapped in bubble/foam wrap. Installed in <10 minutes and a quick ride has proven this purchase as perfect for reducing buffeting over the top of the OEM. Perfect alignment with the existing hardware. (There is a slight misalignment between the front/back mount hardware covers that appears to be due to the curvature of this windshield, but not to the point of being problematic). Will probably buy the dark smoked version to have an interchangeable one for different rides. Highly recommend!
I’ve seen lots of recommendations for this oil. Seems to work quite well.
