Easy to install. The effect like 'WOW'. |
Looks sharp and dresses up the front of the mirrors, but be careful that you have them where you want them after you pull off the backing paper |
Just a little bit more chrome on the bike and not affected by the sun like some chrome on the dash. easy to install but have to remove the metal clips from the original knobs. |
I ordered these hoping to dress up my bike, but when it came to installing, i had 2 left exhaust tips instead of 1 right and 1 left |
Perfect match with my bike. Install was very easy. Looks very sharp on the bike |
I chose the Bushtec hitch after checking some of the others and my experence with some other brands including a home made hitch on my 82 Wing. Some of the cheaper hitches may be ok, but one of my trailers is heavy and the risk did not seem worth the savings. This hitch installed easy and the electrical connections were great as were the instructions. I added the fender trim for additional paint protection. |
Let me first give Kudos to WingStuff. When I went to mount my rack, I discovered that one of the support legs was slightly out of round and would not fit either the cupped washer that came with the rack or the riser I purchased in a separate kit. By the way, the riser kit is the way to go. It spreads out the load and gives more room under the rack. One call to Wingstuff and the next day a replacement arrived. Fantastic service !! With the new rack in hand, I proceeded to install it and found the job fairly easy. The hardest thing is marking the location of the holes to be drilled. Take plenty of time to do this and be sure to have someone help. Check and double check, the holes must line up exactly ! Other than that, the job was easy and took about an hour. Caution: Be sure when replacing the screws in the underneath deck lid that you don't mix up the lid screws from the latch ring screws. The latch ring screws are slightly longer and will fit the deck holes but will deform the outside deck lid. I talk from experience. That was the only downside to the job, but it was my fault entirely. Take your time ! The rack certainly feels strong enough to hold more than the 5 pounds they rate it at. I bought the Kuryakyn bag that matches this rack perfectly. Item #4162 |
I ordered these together with the Kuryakyn 7151 trunk rack. These were a great addition. Add good looks to the mounting and more importantly spreads the load and raises the rack up for easier cleaning underneath. Highly recommended. |
This product worked great up to where they stopped and didn't finish the job. We had a signal light with no brake light. Yet the red connector that is left loose is the brake light. No connector was provided to hook it up to the inside light so you can have a brake light. One simple little wire and a couple connectors and it works like it should. To bad they did not finish the job. We took the time and finished the job. |
I agree that it looks nice, almost any chrome is good chrome. But, I couldn't live with the glare on the windscreen...put the old piece back in place. |
Perfect color match. Installation was a breeze and the cost was very very reasonible. |
All I can say is that it's 'nice to look at'. A classic case of Aggie Engineering. Just replace mine with the Utopia. |
