looks nice |
These highway pegs are of the highest quality and make long distance riding a dream. I tried them out on a 400 kilometre ride recently and it took the strain off my knees. I would recommend these for anyone who does serious highway travelling! |
Excellent chrome, great fit, and "idiot proof" installation. |
Simple installation of an effective "cure" for the need to fold my boards every time I park my "wing". If attention is given to properly locating the extender, it's barely noticeable when the kickstand is in the folded position. |
I was a little apprehensive about adding boards as I've never run them in the past. While the heel/toe shifter took a little "gettin' used to", I am now a "believer". The extra room afforded by the boards has allowed me enough "movin" around space" so that I could eliminate my forward-mounted accessory pegs, cleaning up the appearance of the engine guard area. |
Pretty easy install...and look GREAT !!! |
Very easy install..just take the old ones off, drop the trunk bottom, and remove rear panel, then hook up wires and reverse the procedure. They look AWESOME !!!! |
Absolutely an outstanding permanent addition to the comfortable ride!! The installation was a very easy and the instructions excellent. However, taking a knife to the seat is not for the faint of heart though... ;-) This is a must have item! |
glad you were out of the Tulsa brand. This windshield is as good if not better and cost a lot less. very satisfied with it. |
Since I have fitted the backrest to my bike, I can ride longer distances without feeling the twinge in my lower back. It also encourages better posture for me. A great product, well made and looks good too. Would have had 5 stars except that the locks on the side of the unit are sometimes difficult to turn. |
Thank You ART ! I also had to keep an eye on mine and then use lock-tite and not a problem. I like the look of this and they match my new foot pegs. |
Well, the thing fell apart the first time I took the side cover off. I needed something, so I bought another one (dumb). Turns out when I went to install the second one, and was removing the first, I discovered the top cover is supposed to be plastic welded on. The manufacturer must have made mine on a Friday because it was a shabby weld job that broke before I ever used it. I re-welded it right on the bike with my soldering iron and it now works fine except I spent $40.00+ on one I'll probably never use. Oh well. |
