Looks real good, especially with amber leds behind it. Nice front end dressing. |
The trunk light trim does not fit so good! I shaped & played with them and after just 2 days they are trying to bend back & pull away from the lens. The saddle back trim fits perfect. |
I just installed and it looks great, even though I noticed a little imperfection on the original-sit-like design. It was really easy to install. It feels good but I haven't tried on a long ride. I'm 6'3" tall, so far so good. I will update my review if I need to after a 30-60 minutes ride. I'd like to add that the total shipping time was, on my opinion, too much. |
Not insulated will not keep cold or hot ,but look good .a do not buy for me |
Just installed the hitch on my 07 and it was a little difficult to align the bolt holes. Having someone help with aligning the bolt holes you would have no problems with the install, especially if you get CWOLAW's instructions. Thanks Steve! Once it was on it looks and works great, money well spent. |
they really look nice in the package. I don't see how on earth they would ever line up with the luggage rack without some modification to the existing holes. I would be open to any suggestions. |
5 minute installation. Really looks nice. definately worth it. |
Nice, not to hard to install. Laid down masking tape, put it place traced the braket drilled in the center. Really looks nice. |
I'm no knee-dragger, but I can keep up with most sports bikes due to the quality of these tires and the capabilities of the GL1800. I have little to compare to since these are the tires that came on my 2007 Wing, but the tires that came stock on my 2001 Shadow Sabre were nowhere near as good. Operating each of these bikes over the same roads is like night and day. The Shadow always felt like it was slipping out, even with the added weight of a passenger, whereas the 1800 feels like it is glued to the road all the time. I'm surprised these tires can do as well as they do and still last 10 - 12 k miles. |
This is the first set of replacement tire for this bike. (2005 with 11000 miles) Would not use them again. Front end started to wobble the day they were installed. Going back to the Dunlop........... |
Bought a set for my GL 1800 when Dunlop was on strike. Had to replace the rear because it was causing the bike the bike to wobble so bad I thought it was going to flip. Replaced the front because it had cuped so bad it was very rough riding and handling. Both had less than 4000 mi. Wouldn't have another set for free under me! |
I installed the black one, and turned it upside down, just to be out of the norm. The contour is a little off. |
