I had this backrest on my 2004 and just loved it but, had to let it go with the bike on a trade-in as there was a hole in the seat. If my wife ever gets tierd of the chrome pipes on the Khromewerks back rest I will go back to Utopia. Very nice piece.
Have had this on my 2004 and now 2008, always a good piece of mind tool along with the air pump.
Got these from the dealer. For some reason I'm always droping these late at night and can't seem to find them till days later.
These are perfect for the do it your selfer that is always taking the chrome covers off. Trust me you will eventially loose a rubber piece.
I like the look as it goes with all the Kuryakyn parts. Thanks for the locktite tip.
This do the job and add more chrome
Very simple install and a little more chrome.
Looks very well made for the price. I was looking at using it on the dash as shown or on the back of my backrest. or maybe I'll find another place for it. Always room for this kind of bag.
This was a miduim amount of work to install, just what I expected as I took it off my 2004 and put it on the new 2008 It is light and seems to strong. I used it for for over 20K miles of travel with a cooler rack and now on this bike it will see trailer pulling.
Just installed mine last night, was a little worried about the fit and the none warrenty of the chrome, Actually had no problems at all. The arm fit right in the middle, the black peddal fit under the transformer passenger boards, the spring went on easy, and I can understand the warrnty issue. I think mostly they are concerns with the part that touches the ground as the chrome will get warn off and it will start to rust. nough said.
Like the K&N filters, this the only spark plug I us in all my vehicles. Even when I was drag racing NGK had the right plug.
These put the grips in just the right spot for max comfort on long rides. Be carefull and start all bolts by hand, one of mine kept trying to cross thread.
