Good directions, great hook-up, looks & works great. Hope it lasts! The supplied "Y" adapter is very wise for Kuryakyn. It gives us an opportunity to..........add another Kuryakyn item. I did not like the design of the thin wire coming out of the untit so I taped it up to make it stronger in the 90 deg bend upwards. Should have been rubber coated or heavier wire in that location. |
| This stuff is GREAT!!! I like it much better than the Honda stuff in the black can. Works great on the entire bike! Amazing on the shield. I had an '97 with an original shield. It was pretty scratched up. This stuff worked wonders. Now I use it on my '08 on the chrome, plastic, sheild, dash... everything. This stuff is a MUST. |
| Got the lighted ones but haven't had a chance to hook them up yet. Very easy to install. I like the Ergo II mounts better. But I might have to order the shorter arms because I'm long legged. Will ride with them for a while first to see. Definite must have for long hauls. |
| Have really missed having boards on my bike. They look very nice and are solidly built. Got the highway board to match, really dresses up the bike. Only drawback is having to lift board to put down the kickstand. Will have to get new stand or an extender. |
| Had this a few months before getting brave enough to cut into my brand new seat. So glad I finally did. Very comfortable, adjustable, and wife loves the extra pocket. Video from Steve Saunders web site helped alot. |
| Well I've used this a few times and have finally figured out that the leakage is not from the lid but that it is leaking from inside. Totally unusable. Unfortunately it took me a year to actually use it a few times to figure it out. |
| HAVE TALKED TO KURYAKN AND THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE ANGLE OF THE BOARDS ON THE SHIFTER SIDE. OUTSIDE EDGE ANGLES UP TOO MUCH. ALSO, MY GOLDWING IS A 2008 AND YOU CANNOT REMOVE SIDE COVER TO CHECK ANTI FREEZE LEVEL WITHOUT REMOVING BOARD FROM BIKE. BUMMER!! THIS IS GOING TO BE A PAIN EACH TIME YOU WANT TO CHECK ANTI FREEZE LEVEL. |
| Great looking rack. I ordered the star washers and when to Lowes and got (4) 6mm x 20mm socket screws for the installion. Used 1/8" bit first followed by 17/64" for holes. The whole process took about 30 minutes. |
| Won't say it's the worst backrest I ever leaned back on but it's by far not the nicest either. Even with it adjusted to the very back position it still pushes me forward. I've tried all three positions and all of them are not comfortable to say the least. Great quality and looks though. |
