| I have a couple thousand miles on one flag and its fraying pretty good. They do look nice for a while but they really take a beating. For the price ... buy three or four and change them when they start to fray. |

These are beautiful, look glorious. They are an EXTEMELY tight fit, but once you get them in, they fit perfectly. TAKE YOUR TIME AND BE PATIENT. TABS CAN BREAK. Take the lower front fairing off (like the directions say). Beautiful piece. |

They fit great. Although some don't like the fit, they fit perfectly. I had a little trouble as well, but once they snapped in good, they were there to stay. Best to take of lower from fairing to get to the vents. They open a close very well. |

***DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU PLAN TO ADJUST THE LEVERS AND USE CRUISE CONTROL!!*** As a woman, I ran the original OEM levers at the smallest setting to reduce grip space. I purchased these chromed levers with the expectations they would work as well as the OEM's did. NOT! When adjusted to the shortest setting, I lost the ability to use my cruise control unless I physically pushed the lever out with one hand and engaged the cruise with the other. NOT SAFE!! |

I bought these to replace the Kuryakyn highway pegs (ergo II). I have a nerve disorder that leaves me unable to feel my feet and I kept getting the sensation that my feet were slipping off of the pegs (sometimes they really were)! The floorboards are much better in that they have a larger surface area as well as a small lip at the heel that I can sort of 'lock' my boot-heel on. They are very comfortable and look terrific. Downside: The wiring (lighted boards) is SO short that you'll likely have to add wire to it just to make it reach a power source. This is a drag when you see that Kuryakyn used a really nice Chrome covered wire to make it blend into the bike; c'mon Kuryakyn, splurge and add a few inches!! The boards are EXTREMELY limited in the range of adjustments. Not the best thing for a 6' 4" guy!! Also they do not have an extension arm to move it out and away from the bike (like the ergo II set up did). That means if you're as tall as me you're going to have to get used to your legs resting against the paint (fairing). If you're short I say buy them & don't think twice!! If you're tall; find a buddy who already has them and try 'em out. As always; ride safe friends!! |
| The flag and arm holding the flag fell off within 10 days of mounting. I am unhappy that I let a flag hit the ground and I am angry that you can't buy the arm by itself. Overall a poor product. |
| These work just like you'd expect, and when it comes to brakes surprises are not a good thing. The brakes pads on the 1800 are very easy to replace - you can do this! |
| Looks nice - kinda tricky routing the wiring up into the mirror housing. I tie-wrapped the wires under the brake lines - mistake. On a shock bottom out the wires were severed when pinched against the Kuryakyn fork bace! The wires are now routed on behind and on TOP of the brake lines. |
| Works great, looks very nice and gives a little extra peace of mind. The installation was pretty easy, and as stress-free as drilling a large hole in your bike can be! I too had difficulty locating the connector. It was tucked under the shelter to the left of the fairing pocket. I needed to re-route the coolant overflow line - seems OK though. |
| Looks good, install was ok but not as easy as it should have been. Most Kuryakyn stuff uses harnesses, the saddlebag lights should also. The holes in the "Bosses" should be about 11/16" but most were far less. The first set cracked the boss when the screw was just beginning to engage. Wingstuff handled the return flawlessly - replacing without question. I drilled the bosses out on the second set before installing. |
| Looks very nice - no problems with install. I heeded the advice of some others and replaced the double stick tape, and used industrial strength Velco instead. It is holding very securely. |
| As noted by several reviewers, this is the best and greatest looking rack for the wing. That being said, the chrome job on mine is absolutely terrible. I've had mine about a year and one half. The chrome is flaking off. I've kept mine clean and polished. A friend has one and his did the same. He has had his sandblasted and painted black to match the color of his wing. For the price paid if this is what can be expected of Kuryakyn chrome parts, I'm not purchasing any more chrome products from Kuryakyn. |
